Fed2.0 has arrived...earlier than most people predicted, however i was one of the first here to make reference to this guy early last year before he started winning multiple challengers...as a 16yr old, Roger took him under his wing for several months during Feds offseason training schedule in Dubai and brought FAA in as a daily hitting partner...just a year later after making waves on the challegers as a 17yr old, here he is making a name for himself in early 2019...amazing story, amazing kid, humble as fuk, and the potential for him as he matures into his frame could be epic...get ready for the Canadian wave of future tennis stars...even Andreescu has proven herself 100% committed to getting into top physcial conditioning and now her talent and hunger and desire to be the best are beginning to shine.
I also touted Sabalenka this time last year as a sleeper...so yeah, i love tennis, i love scouting new talented dogs, i love spotting value wherever i can find it...but now its all about watching the evolution of the young guns take the torch and run with it.
The real tennis season has begun, and Indian Wells will finally give us some real data and match play to determine where to bet in the upcoming weeks and months to come.
Good luck fellas, i will be capping tennis again very soon...lets have another profitable and enjoyable tennis season on this forum and work together to collectively beat our respective books!

pack u know i have to give u shit;-) love u man but i keeps it real man. so i must ask: what about danilovic? lol . you touted her hard too;--) I know you are about to say what you always say when someone disagrees w u "get lost" lol
She just got lost..... I do remember Pacman mentioning her to be a future top 10.. I believed it back then because I was backing her matches before Pacman posted that thread... But she just kinda disappeared & never fully matured, as of now..

I am more mellow nowadays
Danilovic was on the upswing when i was touting her as a next gen player, but with so many of these "social media princess" wannabes, she likely is making more $$$ off the court modelling and sponsorships so where is the true desire and motivation to make money on the court based on winning...i feel the uglier the player, the better the chance they have to remain motivated even if they are winning becuase the off the court instagram fame and dollars just isnt there for the butch girls.
Danilovic is only 18 so theres plenty of time for her to get the right coach, commit to fitness and work on improving...but as of now, shes just going to be a random top 50 type player if things dont change

haha i hear you both. much love for pack and tanis! i've been winning strong this year as a wta specialist but im down on indian wells and struggling w the tournament. Sabalenka last night hurt me further. Today im on both dogs Andreescu and Vondrousova. This is a tough sport but much potential!

Euro my pal...can i vicariously live thru you? My life is all about diapers, feeds, laundry and bathtimes since my little buddy popped out back in October....i have not followed college hoops for basically the entire season...i focused all of my attention on the nba early on this year and have been on a roll ever since.

Wheres that "patting yourself on the back Barry Horovitz" emoticon when you need it?
With all due respect to Bianca's enornous achievement here, how pathetic is the wta at the moment? The suits behind the wizard of oz curtain must be shitting bricks knowing that their sport and viewership are going into the toilet...soon there will be a bubble point where the sponsors will begin to pull out and equal pay for equal play will be a thing of the past, and the womens game will be looked upon and treated like the LPGA...the entire tour right now is a sham and its likely going to get a lot worse before it ever gets back on the rails.

I'd be excited for Fedex - Rafa, if not for Rafa's knee, cause he didn't look that good in the 2nd set last night, so this one may end up being a disappointment, no way Rafa will be 100% here..

Rafa needs to save his knee for the French...this match today is meaningless for him in the big picture...i can easily see him retiring after the 1st set if he loses it 64 and just walk away blaming his knee rather than taking a 2 set beating to his biggest rival.

He said after the game that he loves playing on hard, but his body doesn't seem to enjoy it as much, so i don't think he is faking an injury.
Btw, you're framing it as though he can use his injury, as to run away from facing Roger, or i'm misreading what you're saying. Remember that Rafa rarely retires, i still remember the painful AO final against Wawa. Only Miami left til the clay season, he wont do anything foolish, but it's pity he isn't 100%, it would've been a great match to enjoy.
Man, watching serve bot can be really depressing...

Pindex theres mainly 2 things that i think will be significant factors for todays final.
Fed having the day off yesterday cant be overstated just how important that will be for him here, and his total dominance vs Thiem on hard courts (small sample size yes, but this is the Goat here vs essentially a clay courter who has indeed been overachieiving on the hard stuff as of late).
I watched the Roanic Thiem match, and the entire time im thinking to myself just how pathetic a server Thiem really is by just spinning and kicking it in, and what an even bigger loser Milos was for not even sniffing a break point until the very last game of the match...Roger should be able to take apart Thiems serve today...i would say 62 64 is very possible here.

FAA now with a legit shot to make a run to the semis here in Miami with Hurkacz taking out a tired Thiem...and can Bianca's Battalion will her to another upset win vs Kerber in back to back weeks?

Bianca should've been out in the first game in Miami, if not for Begu being a major league choker, but the game did prove Bianca is a fighter and doesn't give up that easy, this imo is a vital quality to have.
Found out that Andreescu's parents are from my region (judet if you know what it means packers). Bianca still has an 84 old grandmother in a village here and they sent a filming crew to her house, when she played the final last week, at Indian Wells. Our pathetic media is clamming her as one of our own, tribalism in its purest form.

Lost all respect permanently for that hoe Kerber. I don't care what she's achieved, Andreescu did nothing wrong or unprofessional the whole match. I even bet on kerber with no care of the outcome purely based on she shouldn't win again vs world's past Number 1 weeks apart. Go suck a long dick Kerber, you ruined yourself with that comment.
