Honest question? Why don´t you guys who are struggling and breaking even, try to focus on betting live?
I´ve said it on some threads before. I´ve never put much effort to handicap NBA pre-game, but I think I would not do very well. It is a hard sport to handicap since stats and matchups are not that relevant until we get to the playoffs. It is sort of the opposite of baseball and football. Motivation plays too much of a role and it is a factor which is impossible to determine.
Today, you could make a great argument that the Lakers will be bummed and their morale will be on the floor. Yet, you could also argue that these trade rumors ignites a fire inside of the guys in the tradeblock and they want to prove to Magic what they are worth. It is all guessing.
However in-game dynamics and tendencies do provide valuable info to bet 3rd and 4th quarters. After seeing how the Lakers have played in the 1st half it will be much easier to conclude whether you want to back them for the 2nd or not.
BOL on your picks!
