I liked the original sudden death ot format but im ok with the current format.
Gosh i think the ones that want each team to have a chance to score a td also want all kids in school to get a participation trophy. The falcons blew a 28-3 lead and still fans wanted them to have a chance to tie with another td.

Nope, overtime is fine now. A team has to hold the opposing offense to a field goal or less on that first drive in order for their own offense to go. If they suck so bad they can't do that, they then deserve the loss.

Yup, the participation trophy idea comes from a certain type of people. Losers.

Would never happen.. the injury risks would be incredibly high playing 15 more minutes.. players would never go for it.. the ot now is fine.. the percentage of teams that drive the field and score off the first possession are in the TEENS, how is that unfair if your defense is so bad you don’t deserve to win or if the offense is that incredible you deserve to win, chiefs not showing up first half is why they lost

If we are selling ads, then why would we not approve a counterpunch theory. Each team gets a counterpunch opportunity until anyone fails and then next score wins...EASY SOLUTION with ADVERTISING WIN!

Do you really believe those things?
And if that's so, congrats, you're about to become a very very rich man, as with even very basic bankroll management and hitting 75% you'd be doubling your bankroll every month on average

Hitting a percentage over a number of games might show something (proves nothing, be careful with this word) but a friendly advice: study some basic probablity/stats before you base any money decisions on those percentages or claim that NFL spread lines are so soft

Maybe its been mentioned already but heres my opinion regarding OT in the playoffs:
Play an entire 15min quarter...same rules apply...teams get 2 time outs and 1 challenge flag...period...if the game is tied after 15min, it becomes sudden death and next score wins.
