Udinese/Parma - PASS. too many question marks for both sides. under is too juiced to even consider an option. many hoping Parma can maintain their form.
Inter/Sassuolo - on the subject of "owning" someone; Sassuolo has won 7 of the past 8 H2H's. but geez they were in terrible form heading into the break winning just once in their past 7 games and ended 2018 on the wrong side of a 6-2 thumping to Atalanta. then were manhandled by Napoli a few days ago. Inter blew away Benev and will start their season wanting to keep pace with the top. Sass didnt hold any of the big boys to less than 2 goals while on road and dont see that changing here as Inter dusted off the rust already and look to be in fine form. juiced up but I dont care.
Inter -1 @-143
Frosinone/Atalanta - one of my futures is Fros to concede 76 goals; currently at 37 and right where I was hoping theyd be. 2nd half of season this swiss cheese defense is going to be facing everyone with something to play for --- be it scudetto, european slot, or relegation; and toss in the goal difference factor and this is typically an annual recipe for disaster for any newly promoted punching bags. every year these clubs concede 40+ after the break. It's wise to take a peek at the 'over' in all of their matches from here on out.
first meeting was 4-0. Atalanta leads Serie A in road goals. and they already got their 'rust' off knocking out Cagliari from Coppa on Wednesday.
Fros/Atalanta over 2.5 @-135, over 3.5 @+172
SPAL/Bologna - (YAWN). i'll be suprised if this hits two. SPAL with one of the fewest goals scored at home vs Bologna similar on the road. a possible snoozefestival. both with very cautious approaches.
SPAL/Bologna under 2 @-106
Fiorentina/Sampdoria - gotta take a pass on the side. both will be right there at the end fighting for European slot and both are mirror-images of another in regards to their approach/styles. books scr*wed up on the 'over' though, far too much firepower + an visiting team whom heading into the break had been leaking goals left & right on the road.
Fior/Samp over 2.5 @-111
gonna go with the goalscorer prop here. "players going up against former clubs"
Muriel(Fior) to score at anytime @+200 - IF he starts, im tossing some on this one. Fior nabbed him over the winter break from Sevilla and he was in there during Coppa playing quite well I heard. wore the Samp jersey for several years and banged in quite a few goals for them; it was not a friendly separation either. very first match on ur new team seeking to impress/justify the 7-digit loan fee and ya go up against the former club whom thought you werent their "future" and shipped you out (huge pricetag n all)? ill take a stab at this EVERY time.
Cagliari/Empoli - suprised at these prices. Island boys have just 1 loss at home (napoli beat them 1-0), which is pretty impressive when you consider theyve already hosted 6 of the top 9 teams in Serie A. bloody freaking tough nut to crack too conceding just 7 in 9 matches. were booted out of Coppa to Atalanta via last gasp goals; so their focus is squarely on survival and first game vs a prime relegation candidate is fortunate. Empoli winless on road and one of the worst defenses too. transfer session hadnt changed either club too much either.
Cagliari to win @+105
Napoli/Lazio - PASS. prices had/have dropped like a brick since opening with sh*t I am not going to bother xplaining on this forum. should take the +HC or draw but ehhh. dont want to xplain too far in depth but had one of our lengthy 'group chats' about this. Napoli p*ssed to all kinds of heck getting booted from UCL but they are NOT catching Juve - not a 9 pt deficit with a weak bench (and no, my tinted sunglasses are OFF); so all that 'face-talk' to the media is simply to keep their supporters happy. Lazio currently hold that coveted 4th UCL spot for hext year, but they are staring down the barrel of a gun. cuz in 10 days time they have to play Napoli, Juve, and Inter. LOL. they could be out of the top 10, Coppa, and a head coach and its not even February yet. this could go all 3 ways, heck... 4-1 or 1-4 too cuz 'Mr. Selfish' (Immobile) woke up from his 1 month disappearing act & went off to the media to announce his desire to catch Christian. who cares about "team" ehh?
