The league will decide who wins these game as usual.
Do they want the two veterans in the SB?
Do they want the two kids in the SB?
Do they want a re-match of Ram/KC game? (2 kids)
Do they want an old QB vs young QB?
This is a 25 billion dollar business. They're certainly not going to leave these games up to chance. The most profitable outcome for the NFL is what we'll see here. The question is, what's the most profitable matchup for the league?

No matter what happens in the games, you are going to come back here and say the NFL wanted it.
Please stop now.
Why would he have to come back and say it??? He is literally saying it right now lol. He is saying they will do what they want and he is not sure what that is. He couldn't possibly be any clearer about that.
The lion and the tiger may be more powerful, but the wolf doesn't perform in the circus.

Speculating here, wouldn't a Rams/Pats matchup be a good geographical fit? You have the highly populate Northeast coast versus the highly populated Southern California coast...to me that one is good for ratings or makes the most sense.
The Midwest (KC) and the South (NO) simply doesn't have the numbers in terms of population but the Kid Mahomes is a rock star.
I agree that the games will be messed with (via the refs) if the Overlords wish a certain narrative to be fulfilled and it is easier than many think, a call here a noncall there and kablooey, you have influenced the outcome of a game.
Yep, a billion dollar business and corrupted, bribed, and rotten to the core. If my message upsets anyone, grow up know the ways of the world...don't be so naive and easily conned. Are human beings conspiratorial? ha... If you have to ponder over this question you are hopeless in this day and age.

Precisely PB, the doubters want the narrative ahead of time, which is the point, we (who are aware and awake) don't write the narrative or issue the orders, the Overlords do. Impossible to get through to some folks...so be it.

Tom Brady is the GOAT. He sells tickets and floats big TV rating, exp. in the big games, so he generates huge revenue for the NFL year in and out. Could this new kid in the block, Patrick Mahomes, beats GOAT for the sake of money for the NFL? The kid, carries 50 TDs in this season under his arms, and owns NINE NFL record, certainly could give the League some nice revenue by going forward to the Super Bowl LIII.

Even if it were true, he can not know the answer to that question, so what's the point, trying to quess what the league wants is not very likely to produce much for you.
Of course when the games are over he will know exactly what the league wanted but how does that help him pick any games before the games are played ??

Ive been saying all along they DEFINITELY DO NOT WANT A REMATCH. To me I will be shocked if they script it for something so lame. Don't get me wrong I hear that was one of the best games ever. But just because the match ALREADY happened, it ONLY makes sense to go with something different. To me Saints and NE Superbowl is the most obvious, And when it happens everyone is gonna go "Why didn't I realize that before, the NFL wouldn't have it any other way"
That being said sometimes we do see surprise teams make it. Just not this year I hope.

It doesn't. It's just a topic to discuss.
That said, sometime it's obvious what's best for the league. This is not one of those times. Enter the topic.

He's very clear - but still an idiot.
Look at some of the teams the past 20 years that made it to the superbowl and tell me they were the most profitable: SEA, CAR, BAL, IND, ARI, TB, TEN, STL.
If the NFL is a scripted business the above list of Super bowl contenders, and in the playoffs: blow outs, crappy low scoring games, bad embarrassing calls that make the league look bad would be far less common.

Not sure about the name calling, but if it makes you feel better, knock your socks off. If you haven't learned yet that this is a business, and the NFL is going to do what's best for their business, you probably can't be reasoned with. I'm going with NO/Over and NE/Under
They have had superbowls and playoffs the last 20 years where the ratings absolutely dropped through the floor.
Seahawks 43 Broncos 8 in 2014? Great script! That was great for business! Broncos and Panthers 3 years ago? Everyone was watching THAT ONE! Great way to set that up NFL!
Tom Brady? Folks are tired of him and the Pats - last year's matchup vs PHI was one of the worst money making merchandise and spectator rated Superbowls in the past 10 years. (Google it).
"The Philadelphia Eagles’ thrilling 41-33 Super Bowl upset of the New England Patriots—which wasn’t sealed until the game’s final play—wasn’t enough to reverse this year’s NFL ratings declines. According to Nielsen’s fast national ratings, 103.4 million tuned in to NBC on Sunday night, making it the lowest-rated Big Game telecast since 2009." Wouldn't the kid against old man Brees be good for the league?
The kid will bring a few new fans & Brady will push some away just because it seems like the Patriots are in it every year & people want something fresh. Makes sense to me? BOL to all of you!

barney last years super bowl had everything to do with everyone who sided against the kaepernik issue tuning out the nfl, it had zero to do with the teams in it, I would think you would be cognizant of that fact. Many die hard, life long Patriots fans themselves did not watch the game despite their team being in it, because they had a hate on on for the NFL, for colin kaepernik, for espn, for michael bennet and his lying bullshitt about how the cops treated him which was proven to be false.
People turning off the NFL last season had ABSOLUTELY FUK ALL TO DO WITH THE TEAMS IN THE SUPER BOWL.

In this scenario I think the NFL is okay with any matchup. They have the 4 best teams in the league here
Exactly. That is why is started the topic. I was hoping to get some educated input. Well, we saw how that went! Ha
i think it will be brees vs brady... the nfl is pushing brady like the nba was pushing jordan...tim donaghy once said that all of this garbage with fixing in sports started with michael jordan...jordan has been branded as a superhuman and that is what the NFL is trying to do with brady.
