( by rule..i always buy / pt on a 3 regardless of what my figures show the win margin to be )..its very peculiar though
Question:..why would the so called Best team in the NFL / Dynasty in the last 2 decades with the GOAT Tom Brady and one of the best coaches to coach the game in Belly be installed as the underdog vs a team they already beat..... Give me 2 Dimes Baby !
Adding:
Kansas City -2.5 ( b/pt) ( Diamond Dime)
Certainly a combination of these factors: KC has consistently been the stronger team all year stats wise overall, they have homefield advantage, Arrowhead is a particularly hard place to play with all the noise, public perception that KC is better, NE bad playoff history on the road 0-2 since 2007, and NE bad road results this year 3-5
I think Unclebenelli was right about them grudgingly being forced to make NE the underdog when they looked at the numbers.

I can't disagree with you on much, if anything. Surely teams are as good (or bad) as their records. And NE's road record stinks. But NE is also a different animal in the playoffs. And even though they've lost on the road before in the playoffs and even though they are not revengers in this spot, they are playing a coach and a team with a history of choking in the big games and they are trying to avenge last year's SB loss. But I'm sure you have factored all that in and still like the play. So good luck to you, my friend! I'm still undecided, but I do not like betting against Mahomes. The kid is the real deal. He is Kaepernick with a brain.
I really don't believe that " different animal in the playoffs " stuff with any team. At this point in the season team personalities are set..you may be able to make a change here ..a change there..but basically ..... ...they are what we thought they were.. - Denny Green ...and KC is not....the Jags / Tenn / Det / Miami / Pitt /..they are the best team in the NFL, and will win SB XLIII.

IF Brady and Patriots get to the super bowl, it will be hard for me not to take them. I don’t care what the data suggests and I don’t care what “experts” think.....Again, I can’t stand the NE franchise but to see Brady get there again and lose again two years in a row.....that would be surprising. If they get there I think we see the sequel to what happened with Manning in Super Bowl 50. Also.....when I look at the possible matchups for the super bowl, can I really envision both the youngsters in KC and LA going for the trophy? I don’t know. I firmly feel the league, the books and even many of the people whom I talk to and value opinions from want at least one of the veteran qbs in there. Some have said a rematch of the Rams/Chiefs would be great to see. Not for me. Been there, done that. The perfect matchup for me would be Brees vs Brady or Brees vs Mahomes in the super bowl. My hope is that we get one of those. I think the Rams have yet to put it all together and are fully capable but goff doesn’t do it for me. I gotta see something from the kid Sunday first.

KC should be favored. No question. Even though the Pats “beat” them earlier in the year no way in h@ll NE should be favored. Home field is worth 3 and no way the books would come off that number. It simply puts the books at risk.
For the ones who believe games are f@xed, this IS the time of the year where it happens and most likely will. The flags, the turnovers, the “missed” tackles....coincidences or part of the plan? Just last week the tone on here was LA was the better team and that the Patriots ML price was a gift YET we got a blowout. Many thought LA would end Brady and Belly’s dynasty but that didn’t happen. This week, we got people saying the Patriots ML price is a gift given it’s at +125- +135. What should it be given that the books won’t move off the 3? I think it’s just about right and my guess is that by kickoff Sunday we’ll probably have KC at-140 and NE at +120. The data for the second straight week points to KC in so many different areas but again, what happened last week to LA? AGAIN.....this game will come down to the end and my guess is that we may see this game end on a 1 or 2 point decision. It happened the last time the Patriots were on the road in the AFC champ game.....we could see it again.

a rule is a rule on a 3 regardless of what i think the win margin will be... you cant cap the intangibles. Do you carry insurance on your home and car..if not, you're a fool.

I can care less what the brady bunch did to LAC and all their weak azz opponents @ home Jets / Buff / Minn / Gbay ..These guys lost to Jags / Miami / Detroit / Pitt / & Tenn.
... KC wins this game....mark it down.
Yeah, but I believe they were also 5-0 against teams that made the playoffs
