I can care less what the brady bunch did to LAC and all their weak azz opponents @ home Jets / Buff / Minn / Gbay ..These guys lost to Jags / Miami / Detroit / Pitt / & Tenn.

My only question for you Wizer, and I think it is a fair one, you just backed the Colts to beat the Chiefs (meaning you thought the Colts were better) but you don't think Brady can do it? I don't get it. Luck had an awful game, and the cover was still there for the Colts late. You can't believe that the Colts were/are better than the Pats. These guys are used to playing in the elements, and they are carrying the pain of last year's SB loss, and now they're getting 3 points, against a team you faded big last week. Please explain, when you can.

With me, in this business, I will always go back and recap the mistake and file the math model etc for future reference. Its one game, one mistake.. and we as handicappers make plenty of them..Nobody is a professional. We are all students of the game. Indy's PF and PA showed a positive point differential in the 4 game road series. It also showed during that span that they had a fairly decent defense regardless of what some say. Indy's defense was doing their job, they were holding Mahomes and the offense at bay a number of times during that game. Special teams did their job also. But a football team consist of an offense a defense and special teams. When you have 1 part of that team break down especially the offense..you know..the part of the team that scores the points..you got squat....especially vs a team in KC that scores points..its that simple. The most important reason is that his stats were skewed. He played a division rival 3 times ie the Texans..a team he owns.. beat them twice in that 4 game road series. He and the defense also played Tenn & Jags with 3rd string QB's in that series also. It was a total gaff on my part . I drank the kool-aid man. I gave him a shot, and he blew it..and those demons of him came back to haunt me once again. Everyone knows KC's defense is bad..but when a team / coach in (Andy Reid) has time to prepare off a bye and rested in the biggest game they have seen in a while with all the media pundits saying that cant win a playoff game..the demons are released @ #kickoff. I believe if Indy had to play them again, the coaches would have tape on the game, re-adjust and maybe, just maybe.. do a better job..its called revenge..and the difference between Indy / Luck and NE/Brady..is that the revenge is with KC this time around... with tape. Do you think Im going to be fooled by NE's game against LAC..no I most certainly am not. NE is a mirror image of themselves when they play on the road vs when they play at home. Its a dynamic most dont understand.. Positive point differential at home ..negative point differential on the road going into revenge in one of the toughest venues playing team that if they win..goes to the Superbowl..its that simple
Remember these teams @Jags / @ Det / @ Tenn / @ Miami / @ Pitt. The answer to your question is NO..i don't think Brady can do it. Because If he couldn't do it to any of the five teams above.. including a team in Pitt that he owns..hes not going to be able to do it to the last team he plays this season..

I am totally and utterly with you buddy ... I think I was 1 game too early thinking they would lose ... Mahomes train keeps rolling into the Super Bowl

I can't disagree with you on much, if anything. Surely teams are as good (or bad) as their records. And NE's road record stinks. But NE is also a different animal in the playoffs. And even though they've lost on the road before in the playoffs and even though they are not revengers in this spot, they are playing a coach and a team with a history of choking in the big games and they are trying to avenge last year's SB loss. But I'm sure you have factored all that in and still like the play. So good luck to you, my friend! I'm still undecided, but I do not like betting against Mahomes. The kid is the real deal. He is Kaepernick with a brain.

I’m with you Wizer. I also think Mahomes is like the Steph Curry of the NFL and the league wouldn’t mind seeing him in a SB. I don’t see the Pats catching the usual zebra breaks that they usually do.

Seems as though the NFL is big on rematches this year. Don't you think KC vs the Rams would be the TV darling of the network on Super Sunday given the barnburner in November? Plus I'm sure they want to get more fan interest for next year is the liberal cesspool that is LA

I really don't believe that " different animal in the playoffs " stuff with any team. At this point in the season team personalities are set..you may be able to make a change here ..a change there..but basically .....
...they are what we thought they were..
- Denny Green
...and KC is not....the Jags / Tenn / Det / Miami / Pitt /..they are the best team in the NFL, and will win SB XLIII.

If Saints advance...not to sure if KC wins SB, I did a projected model on the 2 on a NF (3- 4 gm away series)..Saints have the edge defensively..and KC's "pure" points per game (PA) defense in their last 4 gm rd series is @ 35-38 ppg ...and YPC D @ 5.2. That wont cut it vs Drew and crew ..Just curious on what team will be installed as the dog if this match-up happens

Be careful with this because although I like KC this week, the Patriots are the greatest contradiction to that concept. They're always at their best in the playoffs because they are very disciplined & well coached and that leads to a lot of improvement throughout the season imo. Also, Belichick brings his best game plans for the playoffs/superbowl.

Thanks bro appreciate it your concern..but I don't think I have to be careful about anything.
Yes, I agree, they are at their very best / very well disciplined / well coached, and Belly always brings the best game plans for the playoffs and the SB. I'm sure he brought his best game plan last year in SB 52...but the defense still gave up 41 and NE lost. I'm sure Belly brought his best game plans to those AFC Championship games vs Balty in 2012 lost 13-28 and @ Denver in 2013 lost 16-26 and @ Denver in 2015 lost 18-20. Coaches always bring their best game plans to the playoffs/SB..but they're not always successful..and his team can be as disciplined and as well coached as they want to be .Andy Reid and his coaches are professionals and Im sure they have a solid disciplined game plan of their own..with revenge and one the best QB's in the NFL
My point is that I just don't see the improvement you're talking about through out the season with any of Bellys " Road games"...they've been at a negative point differential since the Jags with all 8 road games...especially in their last 4 game road series 80-99 vs Pitt / Miami / Tenn /Jets..not a murderers row of the elite . Plus, they have always had HFA through out the playoffs and the AFC Championship game in Gillette Stadium. When they did play the AFC Champ game on the road....they lost....twice to Denver. ( AFC West) This is a different venue for Belly....hes not in the comfy surroundings of his fans and his HFA .. and his pure points road stats are below average...they are who they are..game plan or not.
As so far as the Patriots being the greatest contradiction to the concept " different animal in the playoffs " Yes, they are..when they are.@ home ..but they're not at home.. and the last 2 times they played the AFC Championship game on the road...they were a different animal in the playoffs. and they went home with their tails between their legs

( by rule..i always buy / pt on a 3 regardless of what my figures show the win margin to be )..its very peculiar though
Question:..why would the so called Best team in the NFL / Dynasty in the last 2 decades with the GOAT Tom Brady and one of the best coaches to coach the game in Belly be installed as the underdog vs a team they already beat..... Give me 2 Dimes Baby !
