hey bud, had this typed up and forgot to post it the other day (europa)
saw the ending of some highlights ystay buddy before they cut to another match, pardon but, for the life of me I cant remember which game it was (there were 3 of them). but several of your countrymen were standing there near the upper deck..... shirtless, with what i THINK was the teams name in letters written on their torso in Russian. considering the weather/temps - not that it makes much of a difference - but it tends to be a wee-bit more windier up there. now those guys are either:
1) very brave
2) very drunk
3) or as we like to say "missing a few cards in the deck upstairs"
maybe i should add #4 all the above. and since my knowledge of the Russian alphabet is extremely limited, I cant even tell you with 100% certainty that those guys were even lined up properly. but there were 6 of them, unless a few were already laying down by the seats..... none of the teams playing have 6 letters in their name, so I dunno. anyways.....

4years ago i was at the old Petrovskiy stadium for my only champions league experience where zenit lost 2-1 to Bayer Leverkusen.. it was early November but temps were below 0 celcius and severe winds made it even worse. I went with no jacket just a team sweater i had just purchased. it was pretty brutal but i was too into the match and the atmosphere to think abt the weather.
idk if those guys were drunk unless from drinking before the game because football in russia is served at dry stadiums.. i think it was only during the world cup they lifted the sale of it in stadiums during a match. pretty sure its back to no alcohol with discussions of bringing back the sale as long as hooliganism is curtailed.
1-1-1 today +/-0u
Lokos Smolov, and CSKAs Vlasic both missed a PK to deny us today
Smolov being the star striker of team russia who missed the penalty in the world cup missing the net entirely. youd think they practice those more often
Short line on Zenit tommorow, seems too good to be true... but you know that likely wont stop me.

one more round until the break starts next week... they need to fix the scheduling. Winter break should start earlier as its damn near impossible to play in these dangerously low temperatures. lets see if the league learns it lesson next season.

they still sell it in Serie A, but only those cheap 5% alcohol stuff. and you wonder why the rest of europe fans hate coming here? LOL
they should ban it here too. adding alcohol to an already p*ssed off Italian isnt the smartest of ideas ya know.
even after many years, im still amazed this law got passed in England (or am i wrong about that?). owning a pub within walking distance to a stadium must be like winning the lotto out there.
