To say that Pitt can score against "anyone in the league" because they put up 30 on Tampa and KC is a joke. Those are two of the worst D's in the NFL based on last years stats and the first 3 games this year. What about the Cleveland game where they struggled?
The Steelers next 8 games are all against legit D's (Baltimore twice, Atlanta, Bengals, Cleveland again, Panthers, Jax and Denver). As soon as Big Ben starts taking a few hard hits, the INT's will be flowing like usual. Conner isn't that great. They will miss Bell. 7/1 is not anywhere close to what I would call "great value".
Look elsewhere if "great value" is what you are after.

Cleveland was Week One when the team was reeling from the Bell saga and in the wind and rain against an unknown quantity in the Browns. The Browns defense is above-average.
K.C. shocked them for a 21-0 lead and Pitt fought back to lose by 5. No 21-0 lead and K.C. loses that game and they are the darlings of the AFC.
7-1 odds on a proven veteran team in a conference that doesn't have a clear leader is value, IMO. The Patriots have fallen off and all the other teams have glaring weaknesses. Pittburgh's D leaves a lot to be attended too, but it seems like defense has fallen off all across the league as the NFL has turned into Arena League-lite recently. Look at the Rams-Vikings game. A pinball game, if I ever seen one. And both of those teams have "elite" defenses.

For the first time in years, I think the AFC is up for grabs. Pats and Steelers are starting to regress, and teams like the Jags and Chiefs are throwing their names in the hat. Then you have longer shots like the Browns, or the 3-0 Dolphins who I won't rule out. The Bengals, Ravens are Chargers have all been bridesmaid teams for years, and I don't see that changing for any of them. As a Bills fan, I wanna throw $100 on them, but that is almost certainly a waste of money. One team I would bet for value is the Colts. The team is solid enough in every aspect of the game. All they need is for Luck to step up and graduate to being an elite QB, which I don't think he's too far off of.
