You have throw out the slide from Dallas' Week 1 performance-under the microscope, and dig a little deeper into this one. Dallas has advantages everywhere and scored high in my system. And, I'm not picking on the NY Giants either. As I stated earlier, I like them to start hitting their stride in a few more weeks, but for now, I've got the home team by a touchdown or more.

?Cinci surely is riding high after they embarrassed my Ravens last week. They are without a doubt, a much improved and dangerous team. Much of what they do well is get their speedsters into space with the ball. And, this Mixon injury is a killer for them, in that regard. He was a linebackers nightmare in college and for the first two weeks of this season, allowing Ross and Boyd to run slants galore. Meanwhile, AJ green has been living life in post city. Sounds like I’m a big Cincinnati fan right? Quite the contrary, I think they go back to a much blander offense and will have to rely on Eifert (100%??) and AJ Green (Double teamed) to move ball down the field. On paper that sounds okay, but Carolina has only allowed two passing touchdowns this year and won’t be burned easily. Effective pass rush will force Dalton to make the check down plays I spoke of earlier here. I like Carolina to win easy at home with a comfortable lead into the 4th quarter.

It’s a wink to my all time favorite, Hunter S Thompson. If you haven’t read, pick it up.
Also, Thanks and Goodluck to the well wishers above, even if we disagree.

So, here we are again, fading the New York Football Giants. I’ve softened my stance on them (NYG) since the preseason (less than 1 unit split on NFC EAST champs and .25 unit on Super Bowl champs), so no biggie. They are forcing Barkley to be more than just a bell cow and it’s almost uncomfortable at times to watch them try and showcase him. And without a doubt, he is going to be as legendary as the biggest prognosticators prognostication. Lol, and I’m not kidding here, I’m a huge fan. However, this becomes very easy for a defensive coordinator when you show a lack of willingness to share the football and find creative ways to expose a defensive scheme. This is what has made the New England Patriots so successful- you never know who gets the call week to week. Couple that with a less than desirable defense in New York and Drew Brees could have a field day. I DID NOT like the way Ridley exposed that opposite side corner. Saints need to sure that up but Shepard isn’t Ridley. Engrambis also nursing an injury which will help facilitate stalled drives. Giants are giving up over 20 points and almost 350 yards per game. I took a look at some splits on Brees and he’s 5-2 all time against the giants with 20 TD’s / 4int. He’s takes the most oiled and effective offense on the road and out of the comfort “dome” so I understand only laying the 3 points but again, I see a hefty lead late in the 4th quarter.

Not going to touch this one but no doubt Minnesota comes out pissed off after last week. I wish that money line was 300+ — Just speaking out loud here, no play for me. Good luck out there tonight.

Takes from last night, Cousins/Diggs/Thielen did enough to win that game last night. They are, in my opinion, a playoff fringe team. The defense had a third of the energy of their opponents. Boy did Goff carve them up. Something has to change with their defense or they will be playing from behind against any decent offense. To me, it seemed like they were flat and usually that falls to either a coaching factor or desention in the locker room. Maybe it’s neither but it’s two weeks in a row now that they have been torched. If Cook can get 100% (Lat looked good last night as well in spurts) and the defense can find something (ANYTHING) I believe we will see a double digit win team. A lot of “ifs”. Just my take. Enjoyed the game.

Sorry guys, I did not see this last night. I don't sway from my system so wouldn't have been on that game last night- therefore no help to you anyways. IMO, Denver absolutely pissed that game away. Horrible play calls, coaching etc- and I thought Keenum tightened up just a hair under pressure but he played well enough to win that game. No doubt he wants that pass to D. Thomas back. They had ample opportunity to run the clock down but Mahomes is a legit MVP candidate at this point, and took full advantage. I digress...

This one jumped off the page at me immediately. Here’s the deal, Jacksonville is the type of team that will invite the opportunity to challenge the new KC hype. No doubt what they’ve done so far is impressive. What’s the cliche? “Can only hope to contain him”? No fucking doubt. Patty Ice is a baller and deserves all the accolades.....SO FAR. Jaguars are fresh in my mind rewinding to last year and I love this defense. Someone said to me earlier that Denver’s D was on par with Jacksonville’s. I respectfully and whole heartedly, disagree. And if anyone watched that game, Vance Joseph should have done the presser in his best Denny Green voice because they had em hook, line and sinker. My system loves em and so do I, especially catching three and the hook. Pun intended.
