Sock calls for an emergency medical timeout immediately after getting broken in the 2nd set down 1-3...reason being "its too hot...im seeing parallel lines"...geezus dude, youre supposed to be an elite professional athlete finishing the year in 2017 as a top 10 player (yes i realize circumstances of everyone being out and injured helped)...but wow, you cant perform because you are not in shape??? Given the era we live in and the training/nutrition these players should have the best of, how and why does Sock allow himself to get to this point?
Oh wait...its just after noon local time, he must have gotten a whiff of someones hotdog and got hungry...ok i get it now...carry on folks

Its also a dirty move to just go sit down and call time out at 3-1 just having gotten broken...obviously he knows how to bend the rules and tried to stop the Chung momentum...glad to see it didnt end up working and Chung consolidated...up 4-1 now.

I mean he certainly isn't a top "PRO" in my eyes. He has tremendous potential like all these youngsters and just needs fine tuning on his end game consistency. Certainly not trash.

I promised myself to never back Sock and glad I didn't. Made a lot of money on him last year in Paris but this year he has been losing to a bunch of no names. On the over for this one but best of luck to whoever took sides

Could this have all been just a Sock rope a dope making Chung believe hes physically unable to continue...dumps the set 61 only to find a 64 win in the third? Is Chung really this incompetent?

back in paris sock won me a ton. but hes gained like 100 pounds since then and clearly doesnt give a damn. i dont understand how anyone could ever throw money on a fat f**k like sock who makes unforced errors and is clearly out of shape mentally and physically

I agree...his rise in the rankings was during a time when so many elites were out with their own issues....Chung should beat players ranked 75 and down, and will have mixed results with players ranked 20-75 depending on where his head is at...against legit top 20 i wouldnt back him at this stage of his career
