The good thing is that the Mighty Ducks logo is back!
And that Arizona old logo too!

Everything Flyers related sells in Philly. They will sell tons of them. Did you know about 14 years ago when the Flyers finished dead last in the NHL they finished 6th in league attendance compared to the season before when the Penguins finished dead last they also finished dead last in attendance. Real fans vs fake fans. Taking into account the demographics and economics of the city Flyer fans have been the number one fan base in the USA since they entered the league. Have also always been the best road draw in the league thanks to their fan base across the continent. ESPN ranked Flyer fans number one in fan support and merchandise sales. The games they will wear them are pre determined and the number of times they can are limited with some flexibility.

Hmmm curious now who they will wear them for. Every single Flyer home game is a sell out so that is never a question but now you have me curious Lipps. Safe to assume big NBC games, rivalry nights, big matinee broadcasts and such to better showcase the apparel. Adidas obviously will have a big say in all that. No such thing as sales issues in Flyer land though.

I have a mint condition Minnesota North Stars jersey with a fella by the name of Tim Young on the back. He lived pretty close to where I grew up in Scarborough and my oldest brother went to school with him. When he made the NHL in the mid 70's he gave our family five North Star jerseys after he ended up settling with them and beginning his career, I couldn't even properly fit into it until 12 years later. it still hangs in my closet and perfect condition. He later gave me a Flyers jersey with his name on it when at the end of his career he had a cup of coffee with them before shutting his career down too early unfortunately.
