I know I said I would back the Cavs if the Warriors won game 3, but the way that game went down, and the lack of rest between games, makes backing the Cavs here real difficult. Last year, GS put on a gutless display in game 4 to extend the series to 5. It was a literal no-show by them and a prideful performance by the Cavs, who did not want Curry drinking and smelling champaign in their locker room.
But that was last year's team. A championship team that had come back from being down 3-1 and maybe believed (or hoped against hope) they could duplicate that feat or improve upon it. Oh, and that team had Irving. A legitimate superstar and one of the top 4 players on the court in that series on any given night. This year's Cavs team? Not so much. They look like a group ready to pack it in (especially with all the drama around LBJ), and unless Foster hangs some cheap fouls on both Curry and KD, and the Warriors really want to win this thing at home, this series is over tomorrow night.

I knew once I saw the line open at 4.5 on Tuesday night and then drop to 3.5, literally EVERYWHERE I saw shortly after and throughout the next day.. With at least 60 % on Cavs as bettors, it was the first time I really thought about the Sweep being a thing of reality.. Then 44-13 and 7 later from KD.. It was and is all but a formality.. Iv'e been looking for the Series price now and none of the books Iv'e gone on have not even had it anywhere to take or play.. It's off every single Board iv'e checked now and not available..
Can anyone remember the last time in the middle of a Finals Series there isn't even a SERIES PRICE on the BOARD at all? Line opened again for Game 4 at about the same with what I saw with Warriors layin 5.5 to open again, and lookin for the sweep.. and now upon one more look its now currently at (-4.5) and (-180) on ML and opposite for Cleveland at (+160), with Total being 215 currently...

Yes, it does.. Either way, I wouldn't want my money in any way on the broken down and tired Cavs with Lebron more tired than possibly ever carrying the load and entire team on his shoulders throughout a weak and AWFUL East, quite realistically and possibly the worst ever.. With Lebron still weaving through the hampered league all the way through.. and ironically enough, ALL these Lebron fans got their hopes up like something had changed, the only thing that had changed is that hte Warriors may have possibly gotten better, or at the very least just the same team when they are hittin shots and working the ball around off transition misses when Lebron legs die out and get tired then they run on them.. and the Cavs have NOT gotten better and re stocked and re tooled an entirely separate team over the mid season All-Star break and trade deadline.. Got their hopes up in a year, series, league and team they are playing on an entirely different level than what he was just used to playing against and everyone too naive to watch it all happen.. They just DO NOT BELONG.. Period

Cavs defense has looked terrible....look at all of those wide-open shots they made under the rim in Game 3, with no Cavs defenders within 5 feet. This and KD's performance totally negated Curry's awful shooting. Then look at Cleveland outside of Lebron. Korver did nothing all night, Love started out shooting great but went ice cold in the 2nd half, only points scored came from his free throws.
Unless Cavs can play some miracle defense, this series is a lost cause. Honestly I don't see them doing it for 48 minutes against these deep Golden State team. If the Cavs come out strong in the first half, GS will just double down on defense and blow them out in the third quarter like they usually do.

Lebron has been sending signals privately and publicly that he not only is carrying this team but that he is packing his bags.
A sweep, that is, an obliteration in the final game of that sweep,
would be the final nail in the coffin he could even help facilitate that exit (to soften the blow of “look, I carried this team for 4 ears and can’t do anymore when you strip me of my guys).
I see Lebron scoring his typical 35 while his team mates stand around watching him and he bows out of Cleveland on his home floor.
This team, you said it best, is “not so much” even remotely close to the prideful team of last year which won game 4.
What more can he give? What more can the Cavs give. A quick death is a merciful one...

The Dubs give this one to CLE, go home to WIN game 5 and celebrate on their home court, they could care less about a road sweep, than winning a championship in Oakland

Well, that is certainly the worry here, and the only way they lose (as owners stand to make an extra 10 million!). But if they don't do it tonight, a dd line won't mean much the next game. Just double up.

The line is fishy absurd, Scal. And what do you know, our boy Scott Foster will be in the house. However, if the Warriors want this game, it is theirs, pure and simple. Even MJ in his prime could not stop them. And you can throw Bird and Magic on that team as well. Why do I say that, because the game has changed so much. Exchanging 2's for 3's is a losing proposition, even for the greatest of all time.
BTW, did you notice how 5 dimes again refuses to offer Curry MVP now that it is at +300??

And now we have reverse line movement, Scal. Five dimes had it at -4. I tell you, the only the warriors lose to these sad sacks of Cleveland is if this thing is fixed.
