Anyone think it was a scumbag move by the guy whose supposed to be the leader of the team not only not on the bench for game 7 but not even in the arena? Just shows a complete lack of leadership and commitment on Kyrie's part. And with Rozier showing he can be a superstar PG in this league of given the minutes the C's are really only one big man away from being a complete team. With Kahwi available I doubt Spurs can get any better offer than Kyrie straight up. What do you think, would you make that deal if your either team?

He had deviated septum surgery..They're not trading Kyrie..if anything maybe sell high on Rozier (if you can forget about last night)

Is that something the team said after the fact to save him PR? Either way if it did happen if it wasnt a life threatening surgery, he could have held off 24 hrs. I think this team was desperately In need of an inside presence against the Cavs and there's no better option than Kahwi.

i agree it seemed rather odd not to be there for the critical game of the series after showing up earlier in most games, maybe there was a specific reason he couldnt be there but for sure,if there was no real impediment then its a really bad look in my opinion.....and he has been very, very injury-prone in his career and lets face it hes just an under-sized gunner(i know hes awesome at it and one of the great creative offensive weapons that there is),so if a great deal was available i dont think he would be off the table at all....if kawhi's health could be satisfactorily cleared then they would be better off with him no doubt...much bigger, far more well rounded and far,far superior defender who also knows how to win and played in multiple finals..its actually a no-brainer to be honest if it was feasible as a trade.

And after reading the NBA script for G#7 he decided to sit this one out - I'm giving him a pass. If you believe in this type "stuff", could you imagine what it would be like for someone like Kyrie?
