You think The Rockets "are running in fumes" that's hilarious. You must not know much about professional athletes bro. They're thoroughbreds, one day rest is like an eternity, and they've had plenty more than that, please. Rockets win easily tonight.
Yeahh, if anything too much rest can be bad. I see the running on fumes thing for players like Lebron. It's a cumulative thing. When you have year after year of deep playoff runs, you have games when you just don't have it. It's why Lebron rests on defense. It's not that he doesn't care, he's just beat. This Rocket team, though they have playoff experience, they haven't reached that level. Fatigue shouldn't be an issue. Rust maybe but not fatigue.

Although I agree that the pressure is on Houston here in game 1, the pressure was on Boston as well. Boston played great and they were at home. Could Boston afford to lose game 1? Probably but it would have really made thins a lot tougher. As for Houston.....long before the media today has said it’s a must game for Houston, I made this statement as well and it makes sense if you look at both teams. Golden state has been unstoppable at home in the playoffs this year and going back to last year so if Houston drops game 1 tonite imagine how much pressure goes on them for game 2. If golden state loses tonite is there really that much pressure on them game 2? There is but they get the next two in golden state where, again, they’ve been tough to beat. Imo golden state can afford to lose tonite but I feel differently about Houston having that luxury. To hear Houston’s front office say they are obsessed with beating the dubs and knowing that they fought all year to be tops in the West, I just feel Houston comes out tonite and immediately makes a statement saying they are for real. If they lose, can we really expect the rockets to take this series? They can because it’s only one game but the pressure mounts and the confidence builds on the golden state side. I truly believe this series will be full of drama and turns. Harden said it and I totally agree. Houston has been bounced by golden state before and if they lay a dud tonite, there is no reason for me to believe, if healthy in this series, that golden state will lose this series. Treating this game as anything but a must win if you are the rockets is dumb and even though the dubs are the better team, this is the series everybody has been waiting for. Starting it with a Houston win would give it momentum and it will allow the media along with the league and the books to get excited knowing everybody is in for a ride! Again, I could be wrong but saying this is a bad spot for Houston tonite......I’m sorry big with due respect that’s ridiculous. It was ridiculous to say Boston was in a bad spot yesterday and it’s the same in thinking Houston is in a bad spot. My opinion.

Well BB, when the legendary Bator shows up and makes a comment (even with emojis) you have to come back in and respond.
Scal, the Warriors game, as I mentioned in a previous thread, was circled months ago. It was going to be my last recommended playoff game along with Rockets at Jazz game 3, which was a blowout, and Warriors at Pels game 4, also a blowout. Would have loved to go 3-0 on those and dropped the mic but I decided to back LBJ against Brad Stevens who has been my Achilles heel.
I have never seen a guy coach up players like this guy. Bellecheat is the only guy who comes close. But as you know, coaching guys up is much tougher in the NBA because even though it is still a team sport it is 5-5 and star players and their teams have a huge advantage. The fact that the Cavs did not show up was worse than losing the bet. It was absolutely disgraceful. I would not double down on them even though I think they have a good chance to win. If they lose, however, I would certainly back them in game 3, which would be a blowout win for the Cavs. This Cavs team is starting to have the look of LBJ teams of the past when he knew he was not coming back (think Cavs v Celtics Big 3 and Miami vs Spurs) and/or there was so much uncertainty that the team was disjointed.
Unless something comes along, this Warriors bet was likely the last recommended play. Good luck.

Agreed BB. And if the Cavs do not make the finals, and even if they do where they have no chance to beat the Warriors, LBJ will head for LA/Houston. I see almost no chance of him staying in the situation he's currently in.
I mean, the team doesn't even practice for god's sake. That is what was so disgusting about the Raptors sweep (twice, last year and this year!). And they ADMIT they do not practice. And they STILL have enough to make the Finals 3 straight years. Insanity and a disgrace to the East.
Here's to hoping the Knicks do not even SNIFF the top pick, neither does Cleveland and somehow some way Philly gets the Lakers pick If it is #1 or Boston gets it if it is #2 or #3.
