Lets call a spade a spade. UMBC is NOT a good basketball team. They're far, far from being good. They're tiny and have 1 high-major D-1 athlete on the roster. That Virginia couldnt figure out a way how to make that team bend is mind boggling. Kansas St is a horrific offensive team without Dean Wade, they cant shoot FTs, they turn the ball over like crazy and they cant shoot at all from the perimeter. They made nothing all night long...and still beat that team by 7 pts. Virginia losing that game is the worst loss I have ever seen in all my years following team sports. It may not have been the biggest favorite spread wise because sometimes 25 pt favorites lose a regular season game because they just dont give a crap. THIS IS THE TOURNAMENT. "Upsets" happen. Upsets of teams of such low caliber do not win tournament games against teams that go 31-2, 17-1 in the best conference in the country. Its incomprehensible.
