I’m so sick of these dickless effeminate beta males (with no attention span) who continue to criticize the game of baseball. Who continue to talk about the need for all these ridiculous changes and that it’s too “boring.” Anyone that regurgitates that nonsense has either never played the game, knows nothing about the basics/fundamentals/strategy/history of the sport, or they’re a few IQ points away from being retarded.
Baseball has never been better... the league is loaded with Superstars at every position, there’s a ton of parity even with wide gaps in payroll, it’s the best (most relaxing) family friendly experience to watch live, and it’s a true thinking mans game.
It’s also the MOST diverse of the sports. Plenty of White players, Hispanic players, Black players and now some great Asian players of all sizes.
We often hear about the “diversity” of the NBA? The NBA outside of it being the most boring of all the majors, is the LEAST diverse. If you’re not black and at least 6’3... you ain’t playing the game at a high level... those that can, are an EXTREME anomaly.
Furthermore, ANYONE that’s an NBA “fan” who calls MLB “boring” really has to reexamine the game he claims to love. The NBA is a garbage product. Same story every year with the same damn teams, no parity, no defense, the last 2 minutes determines nearly EVERY game (especially if you’re betting) throwout the rest of game, give each team 100 points and play the last two minutes... which is actually more like a torturous 20 minutes filled with timeouts, whistles, flops, “fouls” and commercials... nothing but a soft watered down product that was good in the 90’s but SUCKS now.
Does anybody actually sit down and watch an ENTIRE game (commercials and all) from start to finish?
And don’t even get me started on the NFL. I haven’t watched that crap in years. If any sport is dying it’s the NFL. And for all this talk about baseball dying at the youth level... it’s football now dying at the youth level because of legitimate head injury concerns.
By the way MLB will have a HUGE spike in viewership this year, and park attendance will go up.
Unlike the NFL/NBA there are so many intriguing stories this year...
The Yankees with Judge/Stanton hitting back to back with Bird/Didi/Sanchez damn that’ll be fun to watch.
Will the Sox push them again this year with their edge in starting pitching and the addition of JD?
Will the Indians still be as dominant as they were in the regular season last year?
Will the Astros continue to dominate the AL west or fade a bit, Seattle and the Angels are much improved.
In the NL the Nats look poised to take the EAST but don’t sleep on the Phillies and if the Mets can stay healthy and piece together an offense with Bruce back and a healthy Conforto... look out. Braves will be VERY good in a few years.
The NL Central will be competitive as hell... even Cincinnati will be tough this year IMO. But the Cards, the CREW, and the Cubbies are all loaded.
And the NL is also fascinating... Dodgers are stacked but everyone else got better... the Rocks, the Pads, the Snakes And Giants all got better.
What a GREAT Season we have this year guys!
Cant wait for the best Sport in the world to start once again.
March 29th!!!
Earliest OD ever.
