Well guys St.Bonaventure had it tough but in the end got out of Richmond with a revenge win at VCU 1-0 day +$1,000 33-25-2 on the season +$1,020. Back at it with another max play today and the play is:
Illinois -1 for $1,100
2 of the 3 worst Big 10 teams doing battle today fighting for their seeds in Wednesday's Big 10 Tournament. Both squads come in today with the exact same records of 13-17 3-14 in the Big 10 winners of their last 2
Illinois lost at home by 7 to Purdue as the Boilers shot 58% from the field and was 26-31 at the foul line. Illinois had the fastbreak point edge of 9-2 and the bench point edge of 24-10 but none of that matters when Carsen Edwards goes for 40. The Illini have had a tough go of it in their losses to Michigan State and Purdue losing both despite committing a combined 11 turnovers
Rutgers lost by 27 at Ohio State. Buckeyes shot 59% and was 9-23 from three. Buckeyes dominated the Scarlet Knights in Points in the Paint{44-24} and 2nd chance points{14-6}
These 2 met back on January 30th with Illinois winning 91-60 in Champaign with 57% from the field and 11-27 from three. The big difference......Illinois had a 37-16 edge in points off turnovers. The Illini on the season force turnovers on 22% of opponent possessions. This Illinois team has also had some bad luck with a 2H lead in 11 of their 17 losses. Underwood is the right guy for the Illinois job i will admit though i'm suprised they aren't competing for an NIT bid
Illinois wants to play in the 70s and Rutgers wants to make the game a 58-55 type of game because they are 336th in PPG, 343rd in FG% 349th from downtown and 345th at the foul line....Otherwise they aren't bad In all seriousness this Rutgers team is much improved and IMO would beat LY's by 7-8 points. Coach Pikiell said after the Ohio State game "We are a beat up team right now" I like the Illini to make this game in the 70s and i like them to come away with a comfortable win

Love the pick. Watching both teams play throughout the season, I think Illinois is a far better team and have a lot of offensive threats. Frazier for Illinois ruined my pick -9 for Purdue pick a couple days ago with his buzzer beater 3 at the end to seal them covering the spread. Need him to have another big game today. BOL

I lost on that 3-pointer too.
Packers, solid logic for picking Illinois, but neither are fighting for a seed. Here is the situation in the Big10 as of this morning;

Ohio State (15-3) earns the No. 1 seed if Michigan State loses to Wisconsin.

Michigan (13-5) clinches No. 4 seed and double-bye with with a Nebraska loss.
Nebraska (12-5) clinches No. 4 seed and double-bye with victory against Penn State.
Penn State (9-8) would keep the No. 6 seed with a win at Nebraska.
Indiana (9-9) can get the No. 6 seed if Penn State loses to Nebraska.
Maryland (8-9) is locked at the No. 8 spot.
Wisconsin (7-10) leapfrogged Northwestern by beating the Cats on Thursday, and is locked in as the No. 9 seed.
Northwestern (6-11) is locked in at the No. 10 spot.
Minnesota (4-13) is locked in as the No. 11 seed and will play in the opening round.
Illinois (3-14) is locked in as a bottom-4 seed and will play in the opening round.
Iowa (3-14) is locked in as a bottom-4 seed and will play in the opening round.
Rutgers (3-14) is locked in as a bottom-4 seed and will play in the opening round.
