Record 15-5-1
Last Play was UCF -4 over SMU on Saturday and they cruised to an easy 15 point victory 52-37 in a game that was never really close.
– last night at Bookmaker
The atmosphere will be crazy in Bud Walton Arena tonight. It is always a tough place for visiting teams to play and KY is a team that is build on inexperienced youth, so this should really work to the Razorbacks advantage.
Also, KY has struggled shooting this year and in their last 5 games are only 41% FG and 24% from 3 pt. range and Arkansas scorches it at home at 50% FG and 41% from 3 pt. range. This alone should provide Arkansas the cushion to easily cover the -4.
This is also a double revenge game for Arkansas as KY beat them in Rupp Arena last year and then also beat them in the Championship game of the SEC Tournament.
At (18-9) Kentucky is projected at a #6 Seed in the NCAA tournament and at a better (19-8) record the Razorbacks are ranked lower than KY currently with an 83% chance to make the Tournament.
Arkansas plays their next two games on the road, so winning tonight is critical for them to securely lock in their spot in the NCAA Tournament. If they win tonight…..no matter what they do in their final 3 games they are in.
The world knows, this is not your typical KY team and I am certain that the Razorbacks will be licking their Chops tonight as this game is far more important to the Razorback’s program than it is to the Wildcat’s.
-Arkansas is almost unbeatable at home with a 14-1 record
-Arkansas does not get many nationally broadcasted ESPN games and will want to impress the Committee
-KY is only 3-5 on the Road this year
-KY has lost their last 3 road games by 10, 9 and 11 points (average of 10)
-These teams are going in opposite directions with Arkansas winning 4 of their last 5 games and KY losing 4 of their last 5.
-The home team in this match-up has faired well going 9-2 ATS
BOL and I will have one more play I will be putting up around 1pm.
