From -500 to -350. Obviously due to the question marks surrounding his Knee, but I don’t think he would be playing if he wasn’t medically cleared and confident? I have heard his service motion has looked really poor the last few days in practice. Perhaps this is just a way for him to keep the pressure off his knee until it’s absolutely necessary? Also let’s not forget Goffin has dealt with his own share of knee problems this season and he has just a single win against the big four in his career.

Nadal is not the type of player historically speaking, who would proceed in this match if he wasnt healthy enough to compete for the win...hes smarter than that...if he gets injured seriously here then the French open next year is in jeopardy, and thats all that really matters to him now...hes proven to the world hes #1 this year when everyone wrote him off last year.
Rafa should cruise here in straights...Goffin cannot hurt him with any weapon...just my opinion here.

The Brits love to bet tennis...they are heavy gamblers with deep pockets...perhaps they think Rafa is indeed more hurt than hes letting on, and these bettors are falling in live with the dog...i have to believe they all will end up losing their wagers here....this is not the type of event where Rafa will lose to a player like Goffin unless hes absolutely unable to perform...and if thats the case, Rafa will likely retire and void all wagers. Rafa is the type of player who will finish and win a match despite being hurt, and simply withdraw from the event the next day.

Looks good but, Goffin has never taken a set away from Nadal. Why start now?
Goffin has also never qualified for the tour finals outright eithor, but is having arguably his best season. Their history seems irrelevant, 2 clay matches and 1 hard court mach, with 2 of those including a breaker and the other one the infamous monaco match where the ump robbed goffin of 4-2 incorrectly and goffin mentally collapsed atter they refused to change the umpire.
Goffin may not have the big weapons, but with Nadals knee unlikely to be near 100% goffin has the mobility to exploit this and at least sneak a set before Nadal steps it up a notch or Goffin mentally implodes.

i'm half watching between this and Italy in the football. Seems to be moving alright just not getting enough free points on serve and too many unforced errors

Ive been watching the whole match and he's moving terribly in my opinion. If Goffin just keeps the ball in play he will take Nadal down in 2. Nadal has yet to hit one past Goffin on a rally

Im just hoping for a Nadal withdrawal. I had him -1.5 sets and ML in a parlay. Funny how Goffin started grabbing his hamstring when the game started moving to Nadal at end of set one. Now that he has regained momentum he hasn't touched it since.

WOOOOOWWWWW! What a second set by Nadal. Saved about 4 match points and drops first serve in tiebreak. If Goffin is going to break mentally its now. That lost challenge on his ace really got him heated. NADAL HAS NO QUIT
