Just some quick thoughts while I am waiting on a CourtCall:
Like Washington in this spot, Philly is still searching for its identity and Washington should be ready to hit the ground running with Wall and company. I'm going to make Philly earn some of my money before I give it to the young kids, although I really, really hope Embiid stays healthy all year. I just want to watch him as an overall basketball fan given his immense skill level.
Milwaukee is partially a play on their length as well as the back to back angle and the heartbreak from last night for the Celtics. I could understand the 2H comeback based on adrenaline, but I wonder if emotionally they will be able to recover for this game against a team that presents a significantly different challenge than CLE, who Boston at least had significant familiarity with from the past.
Houston is just light years better than Sacramento right now, and the variance with their three point shooting and ability to get into the 115's regularly will have me backing them when they play sub-par teams. Chris Paul is a crazy person and so I don't think there will be a lot of let down here, especially considering their confidence should be through the roof to win on the Dubs home floor. Definitely a chance they are "flat" here but I'll take my chances with the variance going in my direction.
For Portland, its somewhat like my thinking on Washington. Well oiled machine, basically similar parts minus McCollum for this game, but basically Phoenix is incentivized to tank and suck and this is day one of that process. Booker is a phenomenal talent and gun to my head, I guess my favorite team in the NBA is the Suns (one I probably follow the most closely) and the talent is there, but they are very very young and I'm not sure they are ready for a team like Portland coming in here. Could PHX win? Sure, but that's why they call this gambling and not chess.

Kap if you scroll to the top, where it says " we are experimenting with new forums" the new forum style shows the date joined and posts #, but the old style no longer shows it.
