1- We plan on getting up early and get down to the sportsbook around 8am. Can we reserve a table/seats? Is there an option to buy a table for the day?
2- Caesars or Bellagio book? Im actually gettting rooms at both (long story) and the girls will be nearby at the pools or whatevr so we dont want to go asray too far, so we prefer to keep it in one of those two.
3- Free drinks, how does this work? Ill be betting between 500-1k/game, do I get a handful of drink tickets or do they not hand out free drinks anymore? My buddy will probably only be betting 100-200 per game.
4- When I go to the window, do I say "I want $500 on (give the rotation number)?" and they know this means I'm betting 550 to win 500 or is the number I tell them the amount I am putting up?
5-Kind of a random question, but I will have a marker (casino credit) can I use the marker to bet on games or is this only for table games and slots?
Ill probably have some more questions as we get closer to the date, but any help is appreciated. Thanks!
1. October isn't usually insane on Saturdays (as long as there isn't a fight or big convention that weekend), but just know/remember how small Bellagio's actual book is; Caesars is a different story and I believe you would need to reserve a true "seat" there. Those single seats/chairs to the right side, as you enter Bellagio's book, are open seating and I'd suggest getting there by 7am (for 9am PST kickoff) if you need two next to each other for the entire day. But otherwise yes you can reserve couches or tables/carousels in the racebook.
2. Again depends on if you want to spend or not; just betting 5k-10k for the day won't earn you a seat or table at either.
3. Drink tickets have been discussed, you will always get a few at MGM properties provided you ask for them when you make your wager. Not sure about Caesars... but I'm sure it's the same.
4. mws is correct.
5. Marker only for table games; the sportsbook, for whatever reason, is a completely entity to the casino. Now if your marker is high enough and maybe you've lost quite a bit before Saturday morning, which I'm sure you'd rather just pay, MGM props would prob comp you seats for Saturday.
And for eyedog, those books are always crazy busy - no drink tickets and almost 100% sure you need to reserve a seat with the book management beforehand.
good luck all.
