Leaning Miami at home the way they've been playing along with Fernandez on the mound. The exaggerated -180 CERTAINLY suggests that. I'll be a spectator on this one since Rubby and the Dbacks are somewhat unpredictable.

My $$$$ play for the day is Washington caps ml -125. My reasoning for this is quite simple the caps have arguably the best offense in the game along with a great goaltender in Holtby, he has had a pretty tough break on some of the goals he has allowed however I think he turn it around tonight. The Penguins are also playing without there best defenseman in Kris Letang who is suspended and they're also without their other top defender in Matta, I just don't see how the Penguins can slow down the caps offense without two of there top defenseman. I think caps come out hungry and make good of there chances as they were a bit too late in the last game when they dominated the entire game but fell short because of a crazy game by the Penguins goalie, murrary, thjnk he comes back to earth tonight and the cops tie the series. Also interesting I saw someone post the caps didn't loose back 2 back games all year until they lost to my home town flyers in the playoffs where they were robbed of a game just like they were against Pittsburg in their last outting, needless to say the caps came out pretty determined in the next game and took the series and holtby pitched a shutout. Think caps get it done tonight behind there high powered offense , caps ML -125 $$$$$

I have some definitive thought on Fernandez...I love this guy, but he just isn't getting outs right now. His K level is UP which is probably a great sign, but he is just giving up hits and runs. I would stay away from -180 IMO, but I love this guy going forward.
FELIX: Look I have been following Felix for years and I finally got to watch the entire game today We WON...but that is about ALL i can say good about the King. Unless the As gun is out of calibration, he barely hit 90 on the gun...wtf??
If this guy can't hit any higher than that, he is going to be in trouble. I will go back and review his previous starts, but sometimes all you need is to WATCH and his fastball just isn't there. I am NOT saying he is a PLAY against (by no means) because he can "pitch" but his inflated line days and RUN LINE are over for me.
Pitching can get better with age but velocity NEVER comes back. Verlander, Lincecum and other like this we once knew as flame throwers are gone. Of course there are new arms out there, but the KING we once knew seems to be done (at that level of greatness) Sad day in the Pimp Nation but we mourn with some CASH $$$$

Not sure if you know about this or not, but MLB is giving away 5.6 Million if you can pick players to the tune of 56 straight games with a hit. I have already hit 14 and 13 and currently have an 11 game streak with Miggy at the dish and his .527 average.
It is FREE to enter and I do not see any signs of scam etc. I think if this board were to focus on 4-10 players we all think will hit, we might have a better shot at getting someone win the $.
So far I have seen a 28 game streak but NO oNE has hit 30. You can pick 2 players per day (but have to WIN both).
I have no dog in this fight and don't really know why I would want MORE competition, but hey, maybe someone scrapes in 5.6M.
Enjoy the day...
Hey, Miggy with a hit!! Up to 12, only need 45 more!!!!

I am from and live in the Chicago area and attended the 1959 world series ,just to tell ya how long I've followed them,IMO they don't complete sweeps very well I like Ventura but not Sold on him as mgr ,all that being said I don't see any reason to play Boston tonight JMHO
wasnt nellie fox one of the most exciting players of all time RIP Nellie, died at 47 of skin cancer before his time

Been reading the board with the discussion of the Bosox/Chisox game and all I can say is I think we are overthinking it. The White Sox are the better team so far in this early season, they are playing better baseball right now, and they are at home. The AL central is my area of expertise and I was expecting a line closer to -130 (people still love betting bucholz for some reason). Maybe I am missing something like we all think we are, but I'm taking the bait.
$$$$ White Sox -115 $$$$
Along with what I've mentioned above, I love the way the White Sox are playing right now. They usually do their job keeping their starter in the game, it helps with how good the starters have been throwing, but then late in games is when the White Sox really do their damage. Tonight we see two pitchers that have had some control issues in the early going and I am thinking this could be a problem tonight as well, but Tim Timmons is behind the plate and he has a pretty big zone and loves the outside corner (baseballheatmaps dot com). Rodon has some strongggg swing and miss stuff and I think tonight is the perfect night for him to get things going. (See Red Sox struggles against lefties as people have stated above). It was no different last night with Quintana. If Rodon is throwing strikes I don't think they make the necessary adjustments to put enough runs across. Navarro has been doing a great job calling games for these lefties. Abreu is heating up, Lawrie has been mashing, and the spark plug Adam Eaton continues to get the job done. I see a similar result to last night, somewhere in the 5-1 6-2 range.
Another side of capping this game that I wanted to mention was the White Sox move to DFA veteran John Danks. To me, this was a statement by the White Sox, yes they respect everything Danks has done for the organization, but they are going to do whatever it takes to win games, even if that means releasing their highest paid player. This is just a new mind set that I haven't seen from this team in the past that has been heralded as a loyal organization. Sad to see Danks go, but really like the statement the Sox are making.

Also like the Rangers today but the line being as big as it is actually scared me away instead of seeing it as a value play. Got a little something sprinkled on Rangers Series Win +195 so I'll just let that ride.

LA Angels got it done for us! Good stuff. Already made my $$$$ play today but I gotta add Caps/Pens over 5 & Chi sox TT over 4 to the conversation. Be cautious with this Capitals ML play.... Pitt is just red hot, best team in the league the past few months. I'm going with the over there!

Might be too late to make this a $$ play, if so too bad for me. In a way it might be a blessing as my $$ plays have been finding a way to lose somehow, someway lately (or push).
Anyways, we already know Pitts got injuries for their defensemen, and Caps got off a very impressive amount of shots in game 3 but only got 2 goals. I think lady luck will favor them a bit more tonight and make this team total over 2.5 a relatively easy hit.

I also got a bet on Phillies team total over 3 runs vs St Louis. Leake has been hittable every time he takes the mound. I think Phillies can get to 3 if not 4 or more. Wind blowing from left to right field, hopefully it does not knock down every fly ball.
Also put a smaller bet on White Sox with Rodon. Dude has got great movement on his pitches. If he is on it will be lights out for Red Sox. If he is wild then well...I will wish I had bet the over instead LOL.

that damn under in the raptors game was a brutal loss. Half court three by lowry forces overtime damn it!!!!!!!!
liking mariners today -122
The crazy thing about that shot was the fact that Lowry stepped out of bounds when he had the ball! I had bets on Miami +4 and Miami to win the series and was dumbfounded that they refused to review that play. How can the refs not take a look at that when it was apparent he was *very* close to the out of bounds line.

Go Halos!
Had to admit I was a bit nervous when I took a look at the score and saw Angels down 3-2 in the 6th inning. Saving grace was Davies was at 100 pitches, and I knew Angels were going to get 3 innings of crappy Brewers bullpen ha ha. Sure enough, BAM! Angels knock in another 5-6 runs and win me both Angels ML and RL bets. Thank you Mike Trout!

Capitals knock in a goal in 1st period and get a nice 16 shot attempts. That averages out to 48 which is just like game 3. If they can't knock in 3 goals with that many looks and Pitt missing some key guys then that will be a true shame.

I haven't posted in a few days because I've been so busy but the Cavs have been treating me well tonight!
1H Cavs -4
1H Cavs over 95
I tailed you guys on Houston and the White Sox. Then I put in my Phillies for +1.5. I have parlays all over the place lol So let's go Hou/ChiW/Phi so we can all cash
Also threw in a parlay on 2H Cavs +4.5 and 2H under 99.
Lastly, took the Peguins +1.5 and then took the over 5 in a separate parlay.
Hoping for a good night on the books. BOL to everyone!
