Made a sizeable wager for GS to win the title to win 2k. After Currys most recent injury how concerned should I be with their chances now and should I buy out and take Spurs at 2.5 - 1 odds if that is even still available? I was shitting my pants after that injury and got a bad feeling a gimpy Curry will either reinjure himself or play at 50 % and get blown away by Spurs. Thoughts?

Pretty concern, heard curry was crying in the locker room. Injury must be pretty bad if he cried. an unhealthy curry will lose to the spurs. Even if they pass the spurs they will lose to cleveland.

Going for 73 killed their chances at a championship this year he rolled his ankle in a Cavs game and left and they went for the record instead of resting him unless the others play the way they did today I don't see them making it out of the next round

Going for 73 wins had very little to do with anything. He slipped on a spot where a guy had literally just slid his sweaty back on the floor. Freaky accident, probably a sprained knee or worse.

The fact that he left arena walking on his own without crutches is a positive sign. He was limping, but able to put weight on it. A serious season ending mcl sprain would have meant he couldnt put any weight on it.
Using my expert medical knowledge of mcl injuries from webmd, i predict he is out for 2 weeks assuming no other damage to meniscus etc.
Warriors will take out rockets without him, and hopefully he is back by game 2 or 3 of the clippers series.
We'll find out tomorrow. Hope he will be back soon, would be a crap way to lose.

GS can still win the title without Curry..it just will take a lot of work and have everyone else 100% and play their A+ game......

I tool -175 so if I put the same 2k on Spurs I get a push if GS wins and a nice profit if Spues win Withe how fragile Curry has been I think.the risk.is far to great to.not hedge. Will.not get Sputs at a better price and even an 70 -80% Curry might not beat them

I'd be very worried - key contributor and the pulse of the team. people will say "look at how they play without him" but this is playoff basketball and to get past a team like the Spurs you have to fire on all cylinders.

If the league were not rigged, I''d say stick with GS. Too much firepower on that team.
But it's so obviously rigged. Anyone here who believes Curry is truly injured needs to think about this again.....He goes down RIGHT as the playoffs start? Hmmmm
And people, such as myself were able to predict this before it happened? It's because the script is so obvious. They KNEW they had to have Curry and/or one of the other key players go down...or there would be NO chance for any other team in the league to win a 4 game series against Golden State
Even with Curry down I would go Golden state but I think they take it the extra mile and give the title to one of the other teams this year. I think that is one reason GS did get the record...because they knew the league wouldn't allow them to win the championship again...so instead they went for an even bigger milestone. Something that NO team has ever done.
So to me the record is even better than the ring, since nobody has ever done it. Lots of teams have gotten rings...but none have won 73 games in a regular season. So, I think them being the only/best team in history to do that means something.

73 wins means garbage without a ring. Thats why the Spurs rest players thru the season to try to keep fresh and healthy for the playoffs. You don't get a ring for 73 wins. There is a reason all the regular season counts for is playoff seeding nothing more.( Ask the 16-0 Patriots if it matters.) Did you win the NFL championship? No but we won 16 games in a row. See how stupid that is.The NBA does not rig garbage its just an excuse for poor losers when their teams get beat, injured, or dont cover the spread.

LOL! Whole thought process is ludicrous. Futhermore, did you even see the play Curry was injured on?

Totally agree. 73 had nothing to do with this. Freak unlucky accident.
