I love this kind of comment. It really presents a sincere rendering of the way in which the conception of “freedom” has been relegated to the dim-witted, star-bellied sneech “love it or leave it” mentality. It is, ironically, both moronic and oxymoronic to say you love
That’s my 2 cents anyway.
I’m sure that I will be bashed for expressing this view… which will, in essence, ironically typify my point, but that’s the beauty of it... we are all free to criticize…

Whine, b*tch, moan. One of the major problems with this country is there is no nationalism. I only wish I could have been alive in a different generation, when people considered themselves "American" first and foremost. Not this "African American" "Asian American" "Gay American" "Pacific Islander American" etc. crap. Everyone is free to criticize everything they want, but you know what, if you think this place is so bad, get the hell out. If you would rather associate yourself as a minority group "i.e. black woman living in America" and disrespect this country and all those who fought for your freedom like that, and you feel you are being discriminated against here, find somewhere else better. We don't want or need you here.

Thank you, for exemplifying my point.

Very weighty and well disputed point.
I can’t argue with that logic.
For the record… I am not a pacifist, nor am I in agreement with this woman’s view.
I am simply affronted that blind nationalists get so very angry instead of arguing intelligently the rights of free speech in this country.
It is blind and dreary archaic nationalists which are the threat.
This is just some woman trying (very ineffectively) to make a point.
She failed… so what?
We need to kick her out of the country, huh?
I will refer you to my earlier argument.
It is un-American to kick people out of
And I, once again, thank you for epitomizing my position.
I will leave the peace sign out this time as it has obviously become a symbol that offends the “true American”…

very well put my friend.
The guy trys to take what i said and twist it around like i dont want people to express their own freedoms. Its the National Anthem is what this country is based off and it doesnt matter what color or race you are, if you live here then respect that National Anthem, alot of people died over the years making sure you have the freedoms you have. What that lady did is nothing more then reverse racism. Could you imagine if some white singer started singing a white National Anthem song? Sharpton and jackson wouldnt be able to open their mouths fast enough.
Bottomline is dont fuck with the National Anthem, period.
