This is ABSOLUTELY no way, no how, ANY college team can beat a pro team. That is ridiculous. In college, the only team that can beat UK, is UK. A total meltdown in a game, shooting themselves in the foot. That's what it will take to defeat Kentucky.

Everybody keeps listing teams that "have size," but that is not how you are going to beat Kentucky. They are bigger than everyone inside. UVA, Zona and Wisky are too offensively challenged to beat UK, and the same really should go for Duke.
If you are going to beat UK, which no one will, it will be from the perimeter. Iowa State is the only team that comes to mind because they shoot such a large amount of 3's, and they can get out and run.
I want to see Indiana play UK because I think that game would be closer than the 15+ points I would be getting.

UVA: Nobody outside of Charlottesville wants to see this. Game will probably have an over/under of 100 and go under. I'm a fan of Anderson and Brogdon though.
Duke: No depth at all, Okafor will get double, triple teamed and unless he's kicking it out to Singler, Redick or Scheyer they won't keep up. That starting five would all have to score 15-20.
Nova: They have a bunch of shooters and play good enough defense where I think they can keep it close, but like a previous poster said, UK would probably have to help them out of bit with turnovers and mental breakdowns.
Wisky: Good chance since this team is basically the same team as last year's Final Four team. Kaminsky can lure their big men outside with his shooting ability as could their other players, but he'll definitely get abused inside.
Arizona: Definitely have the size to bang with Tarczewski and Brandon Ashley and they have shooters in York and McConnell. Stanley Johnson would pretty much have to play like the best Freshman in the nation, but he's look like he's regressed since the start of the season.

Duke does not play defense well enough to beat Ky. We would slice them up. Furthermore, our frontline would get Okafor into foul trouble and get him out of the game. Once that happens game over. You think they can shoot it well enough? Ky would overplay the guards forcing them to beat us off the bounce and they would drive right into shot-blockers. And without Okafor in the lineup, that's when Ky makes their final run to shut the door on the Dukies.
And I do respect Arizona but I am not sure they can shoot it well enough from beyond the arc to beat us.
Wisconsin cannot defend the three and Booker, Aaron Harrison, and Ulis would go off on them. Game over.
UNC? What? See Zona above and they have played atrocius defense at times. Game over.
Villanova? Ky would dominate them inside. Game over.
Furthermore, have you guys not realized yet the Cats play their best against the best? Big name teams such as Duke, UNC, yes even Wisky (because of last year's NCAA game), Zona will all bring out the best in Ky.
I liked Holtnt's thoughts that Texas had a shot because they can match up inside but it looks like they will not even make the tourney. So that looks like a wash at this point.
At LSU, Ky allowed LSU to go thru a 20-2 run in the 2nd half. They had the game under control up until that point but they could not buy a bucket during that stretch. By far, it was the worst stretch I have seen them go thru all year and I cannot help to think it was partly due to being on the road. I doubt this happens again, on a neutral court, when Cal has been insisting the ball go inside to our rapidly developing offensive post play over the past month. Game over.
Ah Vandy. Finally someone (Portris ) sees the light. This game was truly scary and IMO set the blueprint that will, if ever, cause Ky to lose a game. Vandy played outstanding offense that game. They did it by hitting jump shot after jump shot with a hand in the face. All the while after handling Ky's half-court pressure by executing their offense with great ball-handling which also negating Ky's shot-blockers. They did not need to rebound offensively because they shot so well. Ky eventually pulled away from that game because of their own offensive rebounding. Vandy just had no answer on the defensive boards.
So that brings me to my point. There is only one team out there comparable to Vandy's style of play (although much better) IMO that A) Does not necessarily have the "big name" that will bring the best out of Ky, B) Executes a very difficult offense to guard and can finish it up with fantastic jump shooting, and C) Has a very good defensive rebounding team. I've said several times on here that that team is Virginia. Virginia can beat us on a good night because their style of play can negate most of the advantages Ky has over other teams.
I could be wrong but that's the only team I see doing it at this point.

And for the love of God please remove Gonzaga from the conversation. Their best player couldn't even start for Kentucky so he transferred! Think about that for a moment.
