1-1 On my Doggystyle predictions last week, and this week I've got two more. Not quite the long write up, simply because I don't have time, So a few words about each.
GREEN BAY PACKERS +2
GREEN BAY PACKERS ML +120
Sorry, Packers have NEVER lost to the Lions with AROD starting at QB. And I have news.
THEY NEVER WILL.
Detroit has the weapons and talent to win, BUT JUST LIKE this year, after a great game they follow it up with a stinker.. Smash the Giants out @ Home Week 1. Lose to Carolina on the Road week 2. Sure two different teams, but good teams keep momentum and actually keep their games close, the fact the lions regressed already and showed signs of the same mistakes under old head coach swartz just further proves everyone wrong that its not their coaching, its their atmosphere, they are a losing team always have been and always will be... Dont over think it, we are 2 games into the season, and linesmakers are putting detroit as favorites because its @ Home, When really GB should be -1.5 here, but their sloppy play has bettors thinking the lions just might actually be better.....
Anything for 50/50 action REMEMBER THIS!!!!!
Packers win late 30-27 after the lions give them the game... MARK MY WORDS
Game #2
Vikings +10.5
Vikings ML +405
While im about 80% sure the +10.5 is more than good enough (I love this game at +7,) Im putting a little on the ML. When you don't play defense, and don't play defense for two consecutive games, Anyone can score on you, Yes even Matt Castle. Say hello Cordelle Patterson.
Vikes keep it close, saints most likely win, but its ok too much value to pass up here take the points your golden.

And they never will! In a salary cap league, and this really goes FOR any salary cap sport. Teams all have the same financial abilities. The teams owners decide not to pursue talent, and instead pay a QB for instance 7 million a year and be mediocre to sell tickets, than pay a QB 16 million a year and sell tickets. Because they lose money. The lions are one of these teams. Yes, they have CJ and Stafford, so thats better than oakland, but unlike a seattle, or unlike a patriots, they have bad scouting, and wont go OVER the luxury tax to aquire talent to win DEEP. They are in it year after year to make money and only money, run like a true business. Which is why they've never won a superbowl, and sadly never will...
and yet the same teams every year (broncos, patriots, gb, sf, saints, ect) make recurrent playoff appearances and even win it all. because they play to win, even if it costs money. So to me its simple. Detroit isn't about winning long term, and short term this game means nothing to them. But to a winning team, like GB, it means something, and thats why they win.

That leaves starters Darius Slay and Rashean Mathis, well-traveled veteran Danny Gorrer, who signed with the Lions this week, and Seisay to man the cornerback position against Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and one of the NFL's best passing attacks.
And on defensive end
Along with cornerback issues, the Lions are down to their third-string right tackle and have three defensive linemen - Nick Fairley, Ziggy Ansah and George Johnson - who are questionable to play Sunday.

No wait till saints are getting a better #. its still week 3, id use them later on in a toucher situation. 10 is a lot.. for a team giving up 31 points as mentioned. I like the vikings to cover 10 easily.

its possible, i can see the lions leading 3 quarters out of the 4. But the 4th is all that matters. and until i see them close a game, actually correction close game(s) and not have 15 penalties for over 100 yards, or lose their heads on defense, I'll have to side with the guy thats never lost to them.
