Guys, I know its a long way off, but what are your ideas on SB opponents.
I personally think New England vs. New Orleans or Green Bay.
I like NE in the AFC because they are very well rounded and (barring any devastating injuries) dont see them getting turned inside out in the Championship game again.
I like either of the 2 NFC teams for obvious reasons (very strong and well coached).
Possible dark horses are NY Giants or Arizona. I dont see any AFC dark horses.

AFC rep will almost certainly be one of 3 teams: Broncos, Colts, Bengals
NFC rep will almost certainly be one of 2 teams: Seahawks, 49ers
There are some NFC teams that I expect to be good (Packers, Giants, maybe Saints or Falcons), but they won't close the gap enough to overthrow the 2 elite from the conference...
There is no way in hell we will see this Patriots team in the Super Bowl...

Shark, I see where you are coming from, but those all seem so obvious. Thank you for the input.

About a month ago I picked Green Bay and New Orleans to win the SB. Got GB at +1200 they are now +1100 on my site and got NO at +1700 and now +1200 on my site.

It's not impossible for a team to come out of nowhere to reach the Super Bowl, but it's pretty rare... and this particular year, there is just such a big gap between the elite experienced teams and any possible darkhorses...
Saints could potentially put a run together in the NFC... Chiefs or maybe Texans could be an AFC darkhorse... still, I will be shocked if anyone other than Broncos, Colts or Bengals make it in the AFC...

Thoughts?
GIANTS???????
I only chose the NY Giants because of the coaching and past history after tanking the year before. The Cards are an extreme longshot. These are just opinions.
