On Wast St with you. Just too much talent there, and CSU hasn't beaten anyone of note. 'Bama loss where they "kept it close" for 3 qtrs is BS because Saban didn't want to run it up on his former OC. They got torched by Boise and made it respectable with 2 late TDs. Couldn't move the ball vs. Utah St. Got lit up by San Jose for over 600 yards. And had 2 terrible losses to Colorado (at home) and Tulsa. Combined records of the FBS teams (6) they beat? 17-55, none from power conferences. Yep, I'm on WSU today, and I hate favorites of more than 3 early in the bowl season.
Why do you like SD St vs. Buffalo? I love to read the local papers re: team's mindsets, especially early in the bowl season. Buffalo hasn't been to a bowl in 24 years. Senior laden team, with a good D. I bet them vs. Ohio St., and they hung in big-time for a while after taking a couple of big early punches. Sure, they lost to BG to end the season, but BG was wicked hot at that point. I'm kind of leaning Buffalo here, although the line move (5 pts to SD St) has me a little hesitant. I hated the comments from Rocky Long of SD St..."we wish we had another week to prepare for this game so that we could focus even more on getting ready for next season. Even so, we still got some work in for the kids next year." That's a massive red flag heading into this game, and it will be SD St.'s 4th consecutive bowl appearance. Any thoughts?
