Three tips in ATP, three in WTA:
Fish to beat Kohlschreiber @2.05 (Pinnacle) 3/10
Fish has had a few matches under his belt already and now ATP tour arrives to his beloved Cinci, where he always has played his best tennis, reaching the finals twice. On the other hand, Kohli with 3 losses in a row and a bit out of confidence. I like trends in tennis, players coming back to venues where they have been succesful meeting a rival low in confidence after a few losses in a row is a betting spot I´ve always loved, so I have Fish as a favourite here.Dimitrov to beat Almagro @1.95 (Pinnacle) 3/10
Both comes off two bad losses. Almagro was awful against Stepanek and Dimitrov should have handled a tired and not used to hardcourts Granollers. Why picking anyone here? Because I think Dimitrov lost because he´s still very and down player, he is going to have bad losses for a while, but he played very well two weeks ago in Washington, so I think it´s more likely he plays a good match than his rival, because Almagro is totally out of condifence. I think Dimitrov has the edge here and he should have been priced no higher than 1.75.Melzer to beat Mónaco @2.63 (Betfair) 3/10
Cinci´s fast courts should fit much better Jürgen here. Looks like he´s shrugged off his niggles and that he will play out the rest of the season with his new coach Galo Blanco. I´m not sure how Galo will help him with his game to be honest, but at least, it´s a signal that Melzer still cares and still wants to improve. Mónaco preferred playing Kitzbuhel rather than travelling to Canada, that´s not a good sign, he has come up way too short for my taste today.
Erakovic to beat Suárez @2.93 (Pinnacle) 3/10
Carla is winless in Cincinnati in her career and I can see why. Cinci is the fastest court in North American hardcourt swing and Carla needs more time to prepare her shots, and in these conditions, she has always struggled against powerful players. Erakovic comes off qualies, and she has a big advantage here because of her serve and firepower, I think she stands a great chance at knocking out Carla imo because I expect Suárez to be very vulnerable and far from her best.Tatishvili to beat Kirilenko @4.47 (Pinnacle) 3/10
I wrote here last week that Anna was playing quite better than her ytd record could suggest. She has done well in qualyfing here and Kirilenko comes off a confidence shattering loss against Cornet where she served to win both sets yet she lost in straights. This one must be much closer than this price, hopefully Tatishvili doesn´t get too tight if she´s in a good position to nick it, I must admit this is a concern for me, but even with that, she´s well over the odds today imo.Puig to beat Bouchard @2.21 (Pinnacle) 3/10
