Both teams playing 4th game in 6 nights. Clips on 4th game of a long road trip.....Wiz home after 3 road games including the Texas teams.....
Most think games like this tend to go under, but with these 2 squads I am looking at a lot of transition points and highlight plays.....but Ive been wrong before (Hornets had 3 guys get off the bus on saturday, the rest stayed at home).....

Can someone elaborate why teams push the ball if they're both fatigued? Wouldn't they slow it up to catch their breath during half the game? Plus their jump shots would be short.
Ultimately, wouldn't the under be a better play between two fatigued teams?

Takes much more energy to play defense than offense

You could also look at it as the fatigued teams won't exert as much energy on defence either. Leading to easy baskets via transition and breakdowns.

jump shooting in a half court offense requires LEGS. tired legs result in jump shots being "off"... half court defense makes players exert a lot of energy, and the defense breaks down more easily resulting in good shots. i also think half court defense requires a lot of THINKING, do I switch?... can i get over the screen?.. remembering to give backside help, and so on. and i think this contributes to the fatigue....players never seem too fatigued to score... i coached bball at the high school level 20 years and i always told my players, if you are too tired to defend, then you need to come out and take a seat.

It does happen bro, and very well could tonight. I just dont think it will. Those short jumpers will lead to long rebounds. The defenses wont be moving their feet as much, which will lead to easier looks and reach in fouls.
