SU winners: 10 OT record: 1-0 Record on the open: 14-12 Winners because of the Open: 1
Notes: -Miami got smoked, sinking my start to the year even further. Seems like 23 days of this month have been wasted, but we will press on -Arizona played so efficiently on offense that only a few good stops or Miami point-blank misses were enough to run away and hide. The 'Cats depth was big because they were fresh while Miami's only offense was Kenny Kadji due to Durand Scott tweaking his ankle and Rion Brown not being able to hit the water if he fell out of a boat -Don't sell this Miami team yet, once Reggie gets his thumb fixed and they get back on the mainlaind I think they can still be a player in the ACC even after today's lesson courtesy of Mark Lyons & co.

Fair enough, ETSU is pitiful to watch. They make a few nice plays throughout the game but shoot themselves in the foot too many times to keep it close.

San Fransisco will be heavy favs
Yeah, you're right and not even worth a look in my eyes.
Anyone care to talk me off Hawaii? Ole miss has the pressure D and are extremely athletic, I just don't know if they can beat teams by big numbers unless they get easy buckets and a taller team like Hawaii won't allow that. Home court not as meaningful cuz the Rebels have already played twice there and the travel hangover isn't there by now, but a team that struggles to score in the half court and can't make a FT shouldn't be giving nearly DDs on the road...

Merry Christmas to all, hope you can get a refuge from the fam to watch this one as I think it'll be tight...
add Hawaii +8.5 (-110) vs. Mississippi -Line has since dropped to 8, but this was posted on my twitter around 10am today. This is a scary play based on the full roster of athletes Ole Miss has and the fact that they have shown zone and man off full-court defense, but I made the play. Rebels probably translates to bad at free throw shooting in another language because they are horrible and have been for years. I also question their offense in general with this sort of spread on an opponent's home floor, even if Ole Miss may be used to the sightlines having already played in this building twice. As for X's and O's, UH has a talent in the interior who will see his toughest test of the year with Reginald Buckner checking him. With all that said, early foul trouble could spell doom for the Rebels because their defense is based on funneling opponents into his area and without him back there I'm not sure they will be as efficient. Three-point specialist Marshall Henderson is a guy that UH will have to worry about, but they do have some tall guys who hopefully can fight around screens and use their length to limit the easy looks he normally converts.
