About having awful luck, straight up. But take in this story of pure hopelessness.
Wednesday night, 5dimes (OUT OF NOWHERE) refused to take my debit card deposit of $400 dollars. I had to turn to Western Union.
It took forever for them to give me a name as the automated service said "p2p was out of names." I finally got my sender name, location and trans. id. I deposited said money into WU, gave 5dimes my control number and waited.
Then waited, then waited, then waited. After about an hour (still time to bet games which all started at 7 PM ET) I got my phone call from 5dimes telling me that I sent the money to the wrong country.
I was told to send the money to Costa Rica originally. They called saying it was supposed to go to Manila. Called WU, they said in order to send same money to a different country, you must do one all over again. Called 5dimes asking for a name I could have sent to Costa Rica and they told me, in proper manner, to go fuck myself. I put another $400 dollars into WU and by the time 5dimes cleared it, it was 7:15 PM ET. No more bets.
Now I'm still currently waiting for WU to send my money back (Don't get my service charge back btw) to my checking account, and 5dimes to send back 400 to me (service fees included). Of course, Wednesday's games I wanted to bet, a $400 4 team parlay that hit of course. Duquesne, Illinois St., FIU and UMASS. The plan was then to take half the money out and put the other half on BYU and the under in Poinsettia Bowl.
Ladies and gentlemen, for the exception of trips to Vegas, you have just witnessed the end of a betting career. My star has burned out on that one.
I'll be smart about this. Even when you win betting overseas, they still make you lose. Somehow, some way, even if you pick wins more than losses, you/they will find a way to screw it up.
Only bet sports in Vegas might be the best sounding advice ever. Until then, so long betting world.
