Notes: -Matt Cain struggled, but got out of some major jams early largely thanks to Melky Cabrera's gun in left field. He has been the MVP for the Giants in the past few games and at one point in the game last night had 8 hits in his last 10 at bats -Marcum is just someone you can't bet or back with an under because his back is such a question

Unlikely to get involved with the royals considering the call up and me having no clue about the new guy...

Detroit ML (-120) @ Cleveland
-Fister simply shouldn't be this cheap against a pitcher who doesn't have great stuff to keep the Tigers off balance. The day off on Monday makes me think its extremely unlikely that Leyland rests the big bats and they lost yesterday too. Benoit is a viable option at closer and I don't expect it to be too close when he would be needed anyways.

You very well may be right on your Tigers bet GWarner, but not a good time to go against the Tribe IMO. Bats are starting to heat up, even their underachieving 1rst baseman, Casey Kotchman. Fister's yet to throw a real dud, yet hasn't come close to a gem either. I'm just not seeing him shutting down those hot bats right now. McAllister hasn't faced them this year, but last season threw an effective 5 innings allowing 6 hits and only 1 run. He seems to throw enough strikes to keep his strikeout/ walk ratio low and hasn't seemed to be plagued by the long ball either. I've cashed quite a few times on the Tribe and also the O's so far, but just might sit this one out today. The homer in me says, " stay away today," even though I personally think they get their 2nd win in their last 12 tries against Detroit today. Seeing I'll probably only have a cheering interest in the game, I'll wish you BOL today and in the season ahead.

Had no clue you were an person fan, 222
McAllister got hit around by the Ms and if not for a terrible bullpen I would have cashed a decent-sized dog in that one so maybe I'm looking for revenge here but i made this line much bigger. The tribe bats don't fear me even though they've looked better since Choo moved to the leadoff spot. They have a ton of lefties, but Fister is in a much different class than McAllister who really shouldn't be at this level IMO...
