very small profit but better than a very small loss, or a large one for that matter..
AS FOR TONIGHT!!!
love the card .....
Pacers +2
-----
Heat tired and this is a revenge game for Pacers. I think the pacers front court depth will help with the foul trouble most teams have to deal with vs the heat.

When a great team plays a team twice in a row they usually get a similar result. I think Utah will
Save their energy for offense.... lets not forget how high this total is compared to their last game, even though its their 3rd in 3 nights????
Detroit +9
-----
I just don't see how detroit is not up for this game, they just got an ass whipping by the 2nd worst team on the planet, and they are now playing arguably the hottest team in the NBA. Pistons are very strong in the guard spots I think they can bully the spurs guards and catch this win if they play well.
Lakers -5.5
----
Call me crazy but I think the hawks are going to have a rough go at it here. They just got molested by the heat in a game that was supposed to be a close contest. Now they travel from ATL to LAX to face the lakers who are certainly glad to be home after the GRAMMY's road trip. I think tinsel town will be rocking tonight after no basketball for a week... as far as the match up, whether the lakers go small or big they outsize the hawks and likely out rebound them. I could see Gasol posting Smith all night tonight over 3 inches difference between the two and a lot of length, while the lakers bench is clearly stronger.

Suns in a very bad spot coming off a back to back and having a huge melt down last night. they really need to get nash on the trading block while he still has some value or this franchise will retire with him.

even if i don't agree i love that you have reasoning that makes sense. i'm a front runner tonight-- knicks and miami. i know miami's supposed to be tired. but they made a statement in their first two blowouts of the three. i think they want the nba to know they are the team to beat (even though i hope not; i hate the heat).

lets think about this game.
Miami has covered huge spreads this month. They just slapped around one of the "best" teams in the Eastern conference, and now the line is 1.5 - 2.5?
The pacers just came off a tough road trip and a disheartening loss to an injured Nuggets team.
They have been slapped around by miami a couple times this year, but the biggest thing to remember is this is a YOUNG TEAM that had pieces added to it in DECEMBER!!!
Tonight the young guys get the best of the establishment and most of it will be due to the play of West and Hibbert down low. They need to stay out of foul trouble and VOGEL is a good coach so he will keep them out of foul trouble with rotation and differentiation in his lineups.

Lakers have really layed some eggs in their first game back from their big east coast trip in the last few years. Simply can't get behind Lakers tonight... on a different subject, here's a fun stat: Wizards are 5-24ats this year and last following a SU win. GL with your picks

Note to fellow bettors..always double check your wagers when betting online, I mistakenly hit the wrong button on a 3 teamer today that would have really given me some leeway going into the rest of the week. No matter, still up on the week and we move on.

Perhaps a different game when granger plays, but I think Miami is showing that this is a championship team and I think especially against other leading eastern teams they want to intimidate them repeatedly for obvious reasons. This Wade/James/Bosh combination is beginning to be scary.

I really like your style. just another game. i really like the pacers. and you're right i got lucky granger pulled up lame. by the time he did, though, they were down 20. for some odd reason, miami matches up with indiana. plus, indiana has hit a low energy ebb in their season. they'll be back. i bought three points with jeremy lin and got lucky with that one. bet OKC down to a pick tomorrow. thanks for your posts and your reasons. I KNOW YOU ARE EXCELLENT. I like the discussion.
