Never should have laid up on 18...the first time around
Snedeker should thank his lucky stars the CBS Tower was sitting perfectly to stop his ball or he had a sure fire 5 on the 2nd playoff hole.

You make it sound so easy...ha ha ..
Perhaps you don't play the game but if you did you should know he hit a great shot,he just pured the shot hit perfectly crisp and spun it. He placement was not really the problem. I'm not defending his play down on the back nine as he was obviously tightening up but I thought for a rookie he handled it OK he made some great clutch putts for par.
When he hit the shot on 18 I am sure he thought it was perfect and was shocked to see it spin back in the perfect spot on the green with just enough spin to hit one of the unimpeaded paths down the hill and into the drink. The shock of his situation then overwhelmed him as it has many players over the years.A sad sight to watch..I feel for the kid as he will NEVER forget these memories as guys like you label him a choke artist and goad the shit out of him.
This is just one step into the life of a professional golfer all pro's have felt the noose tighten at one time or another, how he deals with it from this point forward will be the mark of his career.
I for one will give him the benifit of the doubt and chalk it up to another learning experience for a young and very talented player, before I throw the biggest choke artist label on him.
