For some odd reason the books are keeping this line at 2.5 and some have jumped to 3. Be careful guys because this smells trap game all day long.
Final play is PITT at home.

lol, the line has already moved 6 pts. does it need to move 7-10 pts in your eyes for it not to be a trap? you can look at it in your own magical view, but in my book when the line moves 6 pts in favor of the team being pounded... it can be in no shape or form considered a trap.

OSU200200,
How is the line moving in favor of the team being pounded? USF is clearly where the action is and they are certainly not better off giving 3 than 2 or 1 or getting points. Isn't a line move in favor of a team being pounded, which isn't happening here, a sign of a "trap"? Legitimate questions, not trying to start an argument.
I liked USF, but with EVERYONE all over them, and Pitt winning the last 3 SU, i'll be satisfied to hold on to the money i made on my O's last night and watch with no play.

Let me ask you guys a question. Do you really think books keep a line at -2.5 because they know the public will play Pitt and even out the money? The answer is no. They are hanging that line out there as long as they can to continue enticing people to play S. Florida.
BTW, I keep hearing people following the WYNN as if they are the indicators of movement. Most of the sharpies that REALLY move lines don't play at the WYNN as soon as the line opens. LOL. They are tracking Pinnacle and other offshore books and spreading heavy action out. I'm not here to give a gambling 101 class to novice players so I will just stop here.
And DJOrange to answer your question, yes the books are better off favoring S. Florida by 3 or 4 to entice players to take PITT. Because remember the books goal is to get even action on both sides (LOL, that was sarcastic)
I do respect a select few of the cappers on here but for the most part it's just entertaining.

I'm fading the strong public play on SF. I'll take a small play on the crappy weather in the Steel City to help a Pitt team looking to break the skid at home. +3 Panthers.
