In the gambling , sports knowledge side of things, you are very well respected. In the philospohical side of things you are a light weight.
I have posted some comments on here (sign posts) and not once have you debunked any of them.
So why should i bother to continue?
I would read some of your comments about betting etc, and you sound very professional and mature, By having this conversation with you i am not so sure......

What are you gonna say? Cause it was written by man it should be discounted? So everything that you have written should also be discounted, after all, u r also man.
I say this - if it was written over two thousand years ago, and then translated, revised, and re-written (in parts) over the last 2,000 years, then I don't care whether it's the bible or any other writng from that time, you can throw it all out. That's too long ago and the material has been tinkered with WAY too much to try and figure out what was originally written and what was added on later or even what the original intention of certain passages was. Heck, I have trouble believing anything that happened over 500 years ago, and you're going to selemnly believe every (or virtually every) word of a book that has been paseed down and altered endlessly over two thousand years? That's amazing to me.

I tried to explain the situation to you as simply as possible with the following post:
“I understand you are a huge A’s homer and feel you have to defend your team. I really do. But you need to understand this isn’t someone saying your team has no offense or that your team sucks. This is your team’s announcers laughing for 10+ seconds when they see a fan go over a rail falling head first and disappearing behind a huge wall.
Most rational people would find something wrong with that.
Again: you need to calm down, take off your A’s homer glasses, and try to look at this objectively.”
But even after that you still don’t understand. Either due to a general lack of intelligence, a rabid loyalty to anything associated with the A’s, or both.
This thread was about a man tragically dying, but has turned into a religion debate and an idiotic A’s homer’s insane defense of his team’s announcers laughing for 10+ seconds at a fan they saw go over a rail falling head first and disappearing behind a huge wall.
I am done with this thread and done trying to explain this very simple concept to your feeble mind and will no longer be reading or posting in this thread. If you want to continue making a complete fool of yourself and showing your true colors by defending your team’s asshole announcers’ actions some more, be my guest. Just know I won’t be reading any of it.

Does everyone see that? That kind of twisted logic by Rostos is very typical of the "believer" who has to try and debate without a leg to stand on.

straight(wacked)shooter here's some home work, since you didn't get enough during summer school. Look up redundant, comprehend. I gave you one answer, so you only need to look one other one up.
When you learn how to comprehend, you will be less redundant. When you are less redundant, people will take you seriously. Ask mommy for the ADD medication. You have trouble remembering things you read and hear. Let me sum up this entire wasteful encounter for you. It does not make it ok to laugh at the current situation. It also doesn't mean they are bad people for having a chuckle at the prior situation. They clearly started they believed the park was built like every other park that has those rails. They made an honest reaction mistake. You made them out to be horrible people so i defended them. Homer or not they made an honest mistake and I would defend them from some dip shit like yourself. One of the only people in the thread to call them horrid, degrading names. So if that is the way you like to treat people, please do not respond to any of my posts.
Oh and in case you forgot what your first couple of posts were let me re-paste them for you. Thanks for showing consideration of the family and his soul.
“Just for a baseball.”
“You were right, someone did tumble.”
*laughing*
You wouldn't have thought someone would die from falling 20 feet onto their head?
In 39 posts only two of them talked about the announcers laughing.
A fan goes over the railing and falls on his head and they just assume he is ok and laugh about it for over 10 seconds? If
they are sick fucks and find that funny, fine. But considering they
were on a live broadcast being watched by hundreds of thousands of
people they should know better.
I
feel terrible for the family of the man who died and hope they weren’t
watching that broadcast with those assholes laughing at their
father/husband/son falling to his death.

First time I'm thinking on the same level as MrBator: I don't know shit.
There's no proof to how the universe created itself/ was created so I have no opinion about that.
There's no proof about some "God" so I have no opinion about that.
If you can't explain something, doesn't mean God did it.
People knew the WHOLE universe was created for them and everything revolves around the earth...until they found that it didn't.
Old greek's thought there was a "thunder god" ....until they found out how thunder worked.
People will believe in some "god" who created the universe....until they'll find out how the universe works.
Oh and, some guy dying because he wasn't careful enough? People die everyday who deserved it far less than that guy but this one was on television so let's talk about it...
Also, the thread title is kinda right. Of course Josh Hamilton didn't want to kill him, this whole thing was after all an accident. But, technically, Josh Hamilton did something that lead another man to also do something which then killed him. So, although this was an accident, the title is kinda right.
Since after that post a lot of people will hate me I guess I have to register a new username... oh well that was worth it.
Read my previous posts regarding the origins of the universe and try and debunk if you please.
Of course it is not Josh Hamiltons fault.
But how far do you want to back?
Does Conor Jackson feel bad cause he hit the ball to the left foul line? if he doesnt, then Hamilton doesnt have the chance to throw the ball into the crowd.
Does Holland feel bad for pitching on the inside causing Jackson to hook the pitch?
Does the previous batter feel bad for getting out , if he didnt then it might have resulted in a different outcome?
How far can you go back? Its all a chain of events.

When its your time its your time to go period. You cannot stop death when its your turn. Whether its accidental, natural, from disease, tragic whatever that is what your fate will be. To the young man in texas that was his fate. He was to die catching a foul ball from josh hamilton. And no josh hamilton did not cause his death. That was supposed to happen to that man in the 2nd inning of the rangers game. Only the man upstairs knew his fate and yours and mine for that matter. Nobody in this world knows when exactly they will die. No one.

In this life things happen for a reason. My best friend who was supposed to go to the movies chose to attend a baseball game a few years back. While he wasnt looking a line drive hit him in the head and he died instantly. Would he have died if he had went to the theater? Probably not but it was intended for him to attend the baseball game and sit in that particular seat in the fifth row. There are a lot of stories of people dying from freakish accidents and there are reasons for them. THERE TIME ON EARTH WAS DONE AND THEY HAVE DONE THE WORK THEY CAME HERE TO DO. I would hope you attend church on sundays and see for yourself firsthand miracles and sadness that have gripped all of us in our lives.
If attending church on Sundays is going to lead to me thinking like you do, then brother, I am sticking to the NFL pregame shows.

So, let me guess this right. Men and woman, academics and people much much smarter than you and i have tried to debunk the bible over the thousands of years wthout success and you think you can?
Have u even read the bible? How does one account for the science in the bible that would have been impossible to know without the technology at the time?

Is it also true that the religious people at that game later stood up and sang a rousing rendition of "Take Me Out at the Ballgame"?

They see a man fall over a
rail head first and disappear. They have no idea of his condition and
they just assume he is perfectly fine and laugh about it for 10+
seconds, but because they are unfamiliar with the ballpark it makes it
ok?
Is this your only argument, you seem to say it 30 times and rephrase a word here and there. So I had to paste words that you were unfamiliar with( look a new word you hopefully learned today, I repeated repeated repeated it server times to help you understand.) At what point do you not understand the announcers had no idea while they were laughin of how far the drop was. They assumed it was a short drop, nothing life threatening ( because every other park had the safety padded platform built in). Once he realized ( 10 seconds is not a very long time) how far the drop was he changed his tone. Learn how to read and comprehend, child.

hmm you didn't. If I would believe in a God who can alter my life and maybe even take it away if he wants to I would do everything to please him and stop gambling immediately.

Straightshooter---> A fan goes over the railing and falls on his head and they just assume he is ok and laugh about it for over 10 seconds? If
they are sick fucks and find that funny, fine. But considering they
were on a live broadcast being watched by hundreds of thousands of
people they should know better. Had your first comment been correct, this situation would have never took place. Because of your inability to comprehend and retain information you made yourself look like the fool. They were unfamiliar with the ball park structural engineering. If you listen, you will comprehend the state the announcer was in. Do you honestly believe the announcer knew the fall was 20+ feet and that he would eventually die? Does he have superpowers, and can he see through huge walls? Do you ever see people fall onto the field going for balls, what do the announcers do? They chuckle. Had they known it was a drastic fall (this is not their home park so they do not spend too much time at these parks when they travel) the 10 second situation would have been different.
