Is Hawaii's offense scheme the same as when Colt Brennen was playing?
Same scheme but not the same level of talent...Alexander has come around at QB and with some returning starters on offense...our defense has like 1 or 2 returning starters and will probably get exposed on the road again....
The Warriors (not Rainbow Warriors) is coming off a 1 point road loss to UNLV in a game the Warriors led the entire time...tough loss for them and will be interesting to see if they can bounce back.
More than likely I'll lay off this one so good luck to everyone

For some reason the Warriors do not play well at LaTech no matter who is behind center...maybe coming in here as underdogs will change the trend..this is the Warriors 3rd straight road game but coming off a bye week so they might be well rested for this one on a Wednesday.
Good luck everyone
Big Daddy... As far as I know Hawaii's won 2 of the last 3 in La Tech and they've only played there 3 times since 2003? Is that not accurate? If it is, they play good enough in La Tech to get wins. I think they're the better team and get the outright win here.

Big D no under/over thoughts for a Wednesday Night game? Hawaii traveling really really far for this one...and neither team has seen any action in scrimmage for almost 2 weeks...maybe rusty/sloppy game?

Is Hawaii's offense scheme the same as when Colt Brennen was playing?
Same R & S offense. Greg Alexander looks good in every category, and he will lead the nation with offense at the end of the game. Salas, Bradley, and Pilares are seasoned wr/slots. Former record-setting qb at Hawaii Nick Rolovich is calling the offensive plays. O/L looks much improved over 2007 and 2008.
First 3 opponents were decent. Hawaii controlled the game in all three. Hawaii seems to have trouble scoring in the redzone this year. The D is actually pretty good.
I wouldn't call this game a lock, but Hawaii will outperform expectations, The question is...with the redzone difficulty, will that translate into points scored?

Definitely like them to cover 4.
GL!
I think if I'm not mistaken we do win but barely and not ats...Timmy Chang was qb at one point and I think we struggled and barely won in LaTech with better talent & coaching staff then we do now...We were I think 25-30 point favs in La Tech with Colt at QB, same coaching staff and even a higher level of talent on both sides of the ball and I think we won by one point in LaTech.....
Present Warriors....struggling young defense with 1 or 2 returning starters, average or below coaching staff, offense coming around but inconsistent, still scary for my taste to wager on them.
It might change like I stated earlier my friend due to the Warriors coming in as underdogs in this one so good luck

Wednesday Under?
not sure about the totals but they seem to play high scoring games in LaTech...but not sure how this one goes..

No Complaining About Travel This Week While Louisiana Tech often is at the top of the nation in miles traveled, this is a week where the Bulldogs have no right to complain. LA Tech will be hosting its second consecutive home game while Hawai'i will be on the road for the third straight week. When the two teams kickoff on Wednesday night, LA Tech will have traveled 3,212 miles this season to date while Hawai'i will have traveled 19,624 miles, coming off the island for the third consecutive week.

Louisiana Tech (1-2) dominated Nicholls St last week, after losing by 24 to Auburn (4-0) and by 18 to Navy (2-2) in there first 2 games.
Meanwhile, Hawaii comes in at 2-1, having beatin Central Arkansas 25-20 and Washington St (1-3) 38-20, before losing to UNLV (2-2) 34-33.
I think both teams are pretty evenly matched. Hawaii's offense has played very well so far, but they havn't faced a defense as good as La Tech's, who has a strong secondary. Hawaii's D has been pretty suspect so far, and I think Tech should be able to exploit some weaknesses. Neither team has played in 11 days, so both should be fresh and ready to go, but I still think that the very long plane ride that Hawaii has to take can not be overlooked, especially being in the middle of the week.
Louisiana Tech will be able to slow down the passing game of Hawaii, and the Bulldogs will move the ball on Hawaii's sub-par D.

All trends pointing to La Tech.... Dooley is a great coach that learned everything he knows from his dad Vince....He has 16 starters back, and they play a whole lot better at home than on the road... They hung with AU during the 1st half of the game and held their offense to only 13 points in the 1st half....
Hawaii although they have another good team this year will be flying yet again to the main land where in the past have not faired well ATS.... This year they are 2-0 ATS and almost 3-0 record this year... This is the 1st time I can find they have been on the road for 3 straight home games in the last 15 years I know.... Everyone knows teams are more sluggish on the 2nd road trip, what about flying over 19000 miles in 4 weeks, changing who knows how many time zones, and playing a team that you usually have problems with at their house, and this being the 3rd time in 3 weeks...

The total for the game is 55 1/2 pts. Any thoughts on which way it will go?
I think if you pick Hawaii you have to go with the over. If you go La Tech under should be the choice.... I think they go hand and hand, because if Hawaii wins, their offense is going to put up huge numbers.... If La Tech wins, their defense will have to hut Hawaii down....

I live 30 miles from ruston and LaTech. Normally, I would say that Hawaii is going to come in here and assault the Bulldogs with screaming missiles. That's what I said each time before, at least. Like bigdaddy said, that was with a much more high-powered offense and teams contending for BCS props. Then they only won by a point. Although LaTech has lost 2 games, the games were hard fought until the last half of the 4th qtr. Those teams were also good ones, unlike UNLV. The old Warrior team would have beaten UNLV in their sleep. Also, they had C. Ark at home. Any team should beat C. Ark by 30+ pts, especially if C. Ark makes the same trip Hawaii is about to make. Hawaii however did it by 5. Not impressive. Again, LaTech doesn't have anything impressive to show either. Both teams start WAC play and are looking to start well. I think, though, that LaTech shows up better prepared in front of the home crowd. Hawaii will try not to lose, not try to win. LaTech may beat them by 10pts or more. Also, if vegas posts a line that confuses you, it's like that for a reason. They want it to look easy. Better go LaTech -4.5.

haw was 4 def players as ques tonight, don't know if they start or not.maybe thats a reason of concern?have'nt paid enough attention to either team to make an informed choice, but, the over seems to be fairly obvious as neither team is all that great but seem to be able to put up points?comments?
