Wanted to ask you about Kontaveit today at +188 vs Andreescu...

Seems like a very generous line...

Your thoughts?

its just years of watching Tennis matches starting from small tournaments to grandslams. Tennis capping is relatively easy compared to othersports as it is a individual game.

Obviously we have to take current player's form.

There are 3 types of surfaces Tennis played on at Pro level.

1) Hard - Most common surface. Major Slams are US Open and Australian Open. Acts faster and bounces more.

2) Grass - Major Slam is Wimbledon and its only played in Europe. Acts super fast and favors big serving players.

3) Clay - Major Slam is French Open. Acts slow and favors defensive players.

Miami Open is being played in Hard surface.

In this particular matchup, Goffin is significantly better player than Cecchinato. Cecchinato is primarly a clay court dominant player. But Goffin is not in the best of his form right now and Cecchinato has been playing better on hard courts last few months.

All he need to do is win a set against Goffin or lose by 6-7, 4-6 to cover the spread. I think he can win a set and lose the match which will ultimately cover the spread for us.

If you want to start betting on Tennis, I also suggest PackerBackers, Tanis and Finsterbaby pics. They are pretty good in this tennis forum and occasionally BigDTitle.

GL my friend.

Kontaviet is good top 20 player and playing solid tennis right now.

But Andreescu is a 18 year youngster from Canada who is on super hot form losing just 1 match in last 20 matches and beat soem very good top 10 players in this run.

She also won the big tournament 10 days back at Indian Wells.

I wouldnt bet the ML against the hot player. If you want to bet on Kontaviet, take +3.5 games. If the match goes to 3rd set, Kontaviet will mostly cover the spread even if she loses the match.

Personally I am not playing this match.

What book do you suggest for tennis since bovada doesn't offer the matches. Or best sports in general.

I use Bovada for Tennis. It was there when I place the bet this morning. I see it isnt there now though.

Mybookie and 5dimes are good as well for tennis.

Thank you! I noticed the same thing happened this weekend when you suggested 5 tennis picks and at that time only a few were available... Good Luck today

I find Bovada will have most tennis matches, their issue is pulling games off the board due to miss-timed starts, a match could be delayed 30 min and they will still pull it and it takes forever to re post the game.. if they even do, sometimes you have to wait till live. That happened yesterday when @sportswagers posted that parlay.

I use bookmaker and betonline.ag primarily, both have subpar live betting but their lines are way better than the those crooks at Bovada.

So much wrong here

Because Indian Wells is a hard court it means its going to be fast?

Because Madrid is on clay, its going to be slow?

Wimbledon plays slower than all the other grass courts on tour, hell it plays slower than many hard courts as well

The biggest suggestion would be to do your own research, start making bets without money. Go visit tennisabstract.com and UTR.com.

Tennis is not "easy" to gamble on. Guys play injured all the time to make some extra $, guys fix matches, guys tank matches, etc
