Speaking of Express's QB [link from unapproved source] after he was dismissed from Georgia Bulldogs his freshman year for rules violations, eventually transferring [link from unapproved source],   Arron Murray took over as Georgia's starting quarterback ..

Murray had a record-breaking career at UGA in which he became the SEC's all-time career touchdown and passing yards leading passer ...surpassing [link from unapproved source], [link from unapproved source], and [link from unapproved source].

Arron Murray is now Atlanta Legend 2nd string QB and was a fifth-round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014.... he has not played in a regular-season game in the NFL...

After,,The Legends lost their home debut (28-12) and with a 0-3 on the season fans are now demanding Murray play more..... During last weeks loss to the Iron ...Legend fans were booing QB Matt Simms and chanting “We want Murray"..

As a very famous political once said "What do you have to lose?"

If any of the AAF teams need a QB for some reason ..

The Canadian Football League franchise Montreal Alouettes have released Johnny Football................

If,Johnny Manziel wants to play football it will have to be in he US. since he is basically prohibited from playing in Canada ..and [link from unapproved source]

If,he wants to play in the AAF he is allocated to San Antonio..

An Alliance spokesperson told CBS Sports that if Manziel was picked up by the AAF through the allocation formula set up by co-founder Bill Polian, he would be sent to the San Antonio Commanders.... Texas would be a good fit for him..he played [link from unapproved source] at Texas A&M..

The line on the San Antonio Commanders @ Birmingham Iron game is getting tight..it's now Iron -8.5 O/U 35.0..after opening at -7/39.5 ...The lines are sharper than in the earlier weeks.

The Iron and it's powerful defense
are undefeated at 3-0.. The defense is their identity.. last week vs Atlanta Legend they sacked the QB three times and intercepted three passes. The "D" has only given up 21 points total all season,,, and no team has scored more than 12 points against them.

On offense ,,,QB Luis Perez has yet to throw a touchdown pass in 102 attempts with only one int for the season..Running back Trent Richardson is a freight train inside the 5 yard line ..last week against The Legend scoring three yardage short TD's (6 for the season).. The Irons point differential is 2nd only to the Orlando Apollos..

The
San Antonio Commanders are averaging a little better than 18 points per game, but have lost two game in a row and are at (1-2) and need to get on track quickly..although the defense has played good at times racking up 13 sacks and four interceptions this season.. They still allowed 28 unanswered points by San Diego last week as they fell to the San Diego Fleet 31-11..

At San Diego in week #3 QB Logan
Woodside was sacked 5 x's and had two interceptions..... He was replaced late in the game by Marquise Williams ....Although,Woodside has not been very impressive the season..he is still expected to be the starter this week..

It is now a very tight line,, however The Iron at home should prevail..

In a note on irony....In,Woodside's senior year as QB of the Toledo Rockets ..he was
voted "Ironman of the Game" for his performance in the Rockets' 27-17 victory against Northern Illinois..it was presented by Iron Workers Union No. 55....

Besides,, the Iron's defense there is another reason for the Irons unbeaten success it's in their special teams play ..

Iron punter Colton Schmidt was named The Alliance of American Football’s Special Teams Player of the Week in Tuesday for his performance in Birmingham's 28-12 win over the Atlanta Legends

Schmidt punted five times for an average of 49.2 yards (45.0 net). He booted a long punt of 57 yards and placed three of his five punts inside the 20...He was instrumental in the field-position battle against the Legends, particularly when the game was close in the first half.  (Alliance report )

Making opposing teams have to drive the whole field when they get the ball and than having their "Iron Curtain" slam on the brakes is the main reason the
Birmingham Iron are 3-0...

Another kicker and special teams player..
Birmingham Iron kicker Nick Novak was named the first AAF Special Teams Player of the Week..in week #1.

[link from unapproved source] also played a big role for his squad. The former Houston Texans kicker knocked down four field goals, including a 47-yarder, in the Iron’s 26-0 win over the Memphis Express.

SarasotaSlim thx for the info buddy.....found some more preview info for today hope you dont mind adding it here.....

On Sunday at 4pm on CBS Sports Network, the San Antonio Commanders (1-2) play at the Birmingham Iron (3-0). The Commanders have a wily one in QB [link from unapproved source], who is 50/98 (51%) for 629 yards, 2 TDs and 5 INTs through 3 games. RB Kenneth Farrow II leads the backfield with 36 carries for 138 yards and 2 TDs. The real jewel of San Antonio is WR [link from unapproved source], who has 11 catches for 207 yards and a TD. Flatly, the Iron are just a better team, with QB [link from unapproved source]hammering it out on offense. He’s 60/102 (58.8%) for 596 and an INT. Everyone’s favorite blind rhinoceros, RB [link from unapproved source], leads the backfield with 59 carries for 145 yards and 6 TDs. WR [link from unapproved source] has 11 catches for 209 yards. I still find it amazing that a team that feeds T-Rich 15+ touches a game is undefeated, but I think the Iron get it done on Sunday.

Sunday night at 8pm on NFL Network, the Atlanta Legends (0-3) play at the Arizona Hotshots (2-1). The Legends have QB [link from unapproved source] at the helm, and he’s 60/101 (59.4%) for 614 yards, 2 TDs and 6 INTs. I would like to see former Georgia QB [link from unapproved source] given an opportunity instead. As a result of Simms’ 6 turnovers through 3 games, the rest of the offense suffers. Outside of RB Lawrence Pittman (17 carries for 72 yards) and WR [link from unapproved source] (10 catches for 138 yards), Atlanta has been anything but legendary. The Hotshots, however, are led by QB John Wolford. Through 3 games, he’s 46/73 (63%) for 596 yards, 7 TDs and 3 INTs. The Arizona backfield is paced by the likes of RB [link from unapproved source], and he has 40 carries for 155 yards. WR [link from unapproved source] is a without a doubt a Hotshot, as he has 15 catches for 221 yards and 4 TDs, which leads the league. I think Arizona gets back on track Sunday.

Slammingsammy62,I'm seeing line movement in the Iron/Commanders game ..

Iron -7 and O/U at 36 ....I felt that 35 was too low..

Lets remember,at this point of a new league ..it doesn't take as much money to shift the lines ..as other events.
