Well, I know this forum is full of crickets and tumbleweeds throughout the off-season but I am going to post any news I hear about. This is big news but still not confirmed as yet.

The rumour is that Maya Moore is most likely either going to sit out this upcoming season or even ask for a trade as her and Reeve have had a falling out. Maya's attitude was a little strange, she sat out the All-Star game and also did't agree with some of the moves that the Lynx made during last off-season (getting rid of Natasha Howard). She also didn't like how Reeve eally pushed the starters into some big minutes which basically Moore is trying to say "burnt them out".

If she asks for a trade, she would improve any team in the league. If for some reason she could make her way to Las Vegas and join Laimbeer and Wilson, McBride etc, then that team would look amazing.

Will post more news as I hear it.

Also, Kia Nurse and Lindsay Allen have both been on absolute fire here in Oz. Both are going for MVP honours this season.

In more news. Agler has now signed with the Wings. This happened some time ago but thought I would mention it.

Derek Fisher is the new coach for the Sparks (awful decision IMHO) and they have signed Fred Williams as an assistant coach.

Due to the treatment of how the Wings sacked Williams, Cambage now wants to be traded away and her destination could be LA because she loves the LA lifestyle and Williams apparently. If they signed Cambage, then that is a deadly team regardless of the coach.

Skylar Diggins-Smith will miss most of the season due to being pregnant, so it might be a very long season for the Wings.

Christmas-Kelly has left the Wings to go to the Lynx.

This makes me believe that the rumours about Maya Moore are true.

Really excited about this.

Kelsey Griffin has signed a training camp spot with the Lynx. She won the League and MVP award in Australia this season. Kia Nurse was also in her team down here in Oz an they were so good.

Kelsey is both a true scorer but also a rebound queen. Really hope Reeve signs her for this upcoming season because she would be a great fit for the Lynx because she is disciplined and shows up every single game.

Others transactions

Erlana Larkins has re-signed with Lynx

Another Aussie, Natalie Seekamp has signed a training camp roster with the Wings. Great player as well, and she could add some back up guard depth with Diggins-Smith out for a long time.

Lynetta Kizer has signed with the Dream.

Definitely BigD.

I really can't see the Storm losing it this season again.

Kept their core players, kept their coach and I am seeing around +250 odds right now for them.

It could actually be the Mystics playing them again and they might have some good value as well because they get back Meesseman this season which will be massive.

Waiting for all teams to finalise their rosters before taking any of the odds.

Thanks all

Reeve appeared on a Podcast the other day and stated that Dantas has been great in the off-season and that she will most likely start over Brunson. Potential starting line-up off;

Robinson, Dantas, Augustus, Fowles and Jones

So big news, looks as though Cambage will be going to the Sparks this season in exchange for Vadeeva and a couple of draft picks. If these rumours are true, that makes Sparks absolutely ridiculous with Cambage, Parker and Nneka. But in saying that, also Cambage isn't the easiest person to get along with so maybe Parker may not like the signing of her because how is Derek Fisher going to get all these players on the court at one time?

Well something massive has happened. It has been confirmed that Breanna Stewart has just torn her Achilles. She will most likely miss the entire season which is just horrible news for the Storm.

Do we have a cambage update? I still haven’t seen any official news on her since she requested a trade. And yeah I’m liking the Sparks a lot in a bounce back year now that stewie is out of the picture. Too bad for me neither 5D nor BOL have their futures up yet lol

So because Cambage has apparently asked for a trade, she could miss several weeks at the start of the season.

This season will be a little different with no Maya Moore, Sexy Skylar Diggins-Smith and now Stewart.

I am actually liking the Mercury as well in what could be Taurasi's final season. Kept their core, but will see who they bring in as well. If you guys remember last season, they were doing very well until Sancho Lyttle got injured. Once she went down, they kind of fell apart defensively.

Sparks will be up there and I also think Atlanta as well as they kept their core players and last season was under their new coach so her systems are now in place.

Completely agree with your there mate. They just brought in Sugar Rodgers as well. Laimbeer getting some of this Liberty players across. They did lose Coffey though who had a great season here in Oz recently. If Jefferson, McBride and Wilson stay fit, they will be a dominant team. Looking forward to seeing what their season wins over/under is because if its around 16-17, will take that over.
