absolute joke, the Heisman is most years but not this year since Marshall Faulk lost to Gino Torretta...so you freaking idiot Southern football voters and viewers finally got a game yesterday you could watch sober since you obviously were too drunk this fall by the time most Stanford games were on TV...

Did you finally realize the guy who did way more in all forms of offense got ripped off by your limited flavor of the year RB who will probably end up watching on the sidelines at the next level like his other school predecessors?

Seriously, good luck Derrick, you'll need it starting in 9 days...

No one said McCaffrey was not any good. So we don't disrespect him but you do disrespect Henry who broke Bo Jackson and Herschel Walkers's records in addition to Alabama records. One plays with flash with players that can't wait to get a hit on him. The other hears how defenses are going to hurt him and after a tackle or two they pray he runs the other way. I think what the SEC is doing to other teams in the bowls which is destroying them validates Derrick Henry's numbers over the course of the season. And without him Alabama would not be in the National Championship, a tad step higher than McCaffrey took his team. He'll win it next year.....

With mistakes keep piling on, even the hype can't help this award. Sports writers are idiots.

McCaffery is a great player but one game doesn't make a Heisman. Northwestern bottled him up for crying out loud.  Please bring him to an SEC conference and see how all the hits take a toll.

This year Henry was the best player and next year McCaffery has a great chance to be

Sorry, how did Florida, one of the SEC's supposed "best" defenses hold up? And how did Henry do vs. Michigan State? And then how would he have done vs Michigan and Ohio State? Stop living in SEC defense fantasy land from the 2000's...

Where has everyone been the whole season? Just because McCaffrey had a strong performance in a bowl game on national TV, he is the best player for the whole year.

Derrick Henry's strength of schedule was on his SEC side.

His point is that he has been doing it all year genius.  He broke Barry Sanders long standing record for all purpose yards...3,496 Fyking yards!!!!  But yeah he just had one good bowl game...

Do you understand football or even watch the game?  Kiffin changed game plan entirely and ran second and opened up pass first.  Henry wasn't the focal point against mich st.

Hey Boy-behind-a,Go CRY me a river!!!  LOL!!!  And then grow up. The people that make a living in College Football KNOW less THAN YOU,HUH??  LOL!!!   Have you seen what SEC defenses are doing to everyone in the bowel games??!!  Macaffery plays in the SEC each week he does not even come close to SNIFFING Sander's records!!  And for good measure,NO team plays well their next game  after they have been crushed by Bama.  Just look it up. 95% of the teams after playing Bama, lose their next game!! So FL could have cared less!! Sorry your boy did not win. Better luck next year. Now go get your self a tissue!!

Really? I guess Belichick would run the Patriots against a good pass defense like Seattle in the Super Bowl, no?
Your guy isn't a great receiver, no special teams, he'll be hanging out with Trent and the others when pro defenses stop him..
I'll bet you any amount who lasts longer ..

Still think Fournette is better than both of them. I know it's not about the next level but, barring injury Id take LF7 anyday in the pros!
