looks like another documentary that shows how fucked up government is, most of all cops and prosecutors when they are crooked and incompetent.

the first episode makes that point clear.  i haven't watched beyond that but it looks like a pretty crazy story.

i recommend it just based on the first episode, especially if you are pro death penalty, just like paradise lost.

Stumbled on this a couple days ago and I can't stop watching it.  8 episodes in now.  Best crime documentary I've ever seen can't believe I had never heard of this case.

i usually don't like these, but this one is very interesting.  i watched 2 and 3 last night.  if not for the in-laws in town this week, i might be able to finish it by the weekend.  need to find some activities for them.

I'm thru 9 episodes as of this post...My wife kept saying through the first 5 episodes, "this can't be real."  It's horrifying and I can't stop watching it...

i just watched episode 6 last night.

for a documentary it really is amazing how good a job they did making it so interesting.  also amazing how much of this insanity was documented either on video or on paper back then.

A lot of evidence was left out. Although watching it you feel 99% like he's been framed, I am 50/50 now. I still don't know why Manitowoc was allowed in the investigation after they made a big deal of not letting them in. Still it is fishy, but they definitely made the movie to sway people that he was innocent. The Dassey kid I feel worse for, he didn't know what the hell was going on.

I started this show on Thursday at 9pm, I had Friday off but was sick so I finished episode 10 Friday night. You can't stop watching it, I'm glad it wasn't 15 shows or I would've hung in there until it was done.

No physical evidence in the trailer or garage. The kid put himself away for life because he's stupid and cops/legal system let him do it. He confessed to something where there was no physical evidence whatsoever to confirm what he said happened. The confession was all they had on him and it should've been thrown the fk out based on how it was obtained. A hazmat team couldn't of cleaned that trailer or garage of the DNA material that would've been present in his version of events, NONE WAS FOUND and they went crazy trying to find it.

The defense lawyers for Avery were fabulous but came up short. That county didn't want to pay Avery $36M and conveniently someone took advantage of that fact. There was a car crusher on the property that he knew how to operate and the car is left to be found. It's possible that he thought there was so many cars there it wouldn't be located and he had time to get to that.

If Avery did that, he's the psychopath of all-time. He's looking at a big payday, had a girlfriend that he seemed crazy about and he seemed very happy being free and he reconnected with his kids. He didn't seem like someone that could do that.

That police department looked sleezy as hell to me and the prosecutor eventually got thrown out for being a sexual deviant. That obviously tampered with blood test kit? The vial had a hole in the top of it where someone extracted blood with a needle.

OJ couldn't get convicted with all that evidence and they convicted both of them with shreds of evidence and tons of reasonable doubt.

Like the lawyer said at the end, part of him hopes that he did do it so he's not an innocent man in jail again.
