What? B2W's whole system is based on RPI. At least he uses RPI to weed out games.

B2W just had a bad year, but the system works. The problem is with all the new players an changes the RPI takes awhile to stabilize. This still has value. Oh and the THE RIZZ rocks.

BETTOR2WIN MLB RPI SYSTEM
2011 Record 72 - 1 - 0
2010 Record 74 - 1 - 0
2009 Record 76 - 2 - 0

A Game Wins: ??
"A" games are first bets won

B Game Wins: ??
"B" games mean you lost your "A" bet and you need to double up on that team that lost.

C Game Wins: ??
"C" games mean you have lost both A and B and need to triple up on that team to make money on them.

Unofficial Plays: 00 - 0

SYSTEM
The premise here is simple. Good teams Beat bad teams more often than bad teams beat good teams. This a chase system.
Please read first page of this Post to understand the system completely. And read this page too.

RELATIVE POWER INDEX (RPI)
The RPI tends to tighten as the season progresses, so post all star game I use different numbers.
1. This is a series chase. I DO NOT chase after a 3rd straight loss in a 4 game series. IDK why, but I don't. You can if you like.
2. How to pick series. Pre all star game: check the upcoming series. We will use tomorrows games/series as an example. Check the ESPN RPI rankings.
If any team is the visiting team and has an RPI of over 50 points or more over the home team they are playing, take the visiting team for a series chase.
If any team is the home team and they have an RPI of 42 points or more than the visiting team, take the home team for a series chase.

FILTERS
1. If the lower RPI has been playing significantly better baseball over the last week or so, do not play the series.
2. Losing streaks. Big losing streaks by better RPI team, don't play series.
3. Teams going in obvious opposite directions in the W/L column, I will take the series even if off a Point or max 2 on the RPI.
4. Injuries. Watch how the teams play for a few days then decide to take a series if a good player has been hurt. The Angels lost Kendry Morales and went on a 10 game winning streak last year. Go figure, so watch.Another note, in a 4 game series, if, and ONLY if the team you bet on for the series wins the FIRST game of a four game series, start the series over the next day as a new series. Basically, we would be banking they will win one of the next 3 as well.
5. Teams bellow the .500 mark need to be evaluated before a play is created.
6. Season ends the week of the August 20th.

JUICE
1. This system does come with some juice, but remember a WIN is WIN. Use LABBY and MARTINGALE ...depended on the outcome of a four game series. First game. LABBY will make up for losses, so I advise using the LABBY. Also, with the high juice in this system, you can only play one other system.
2. Pass on games over

So now that I have my systems straight  (even though theRizz system I posted was winning) I apologize for confusing anyone following ...

THE RPI B2W system officially doesnt start til May if I remember.

HOWEVER,

If we were to have started the system on the Current Series in progress The Plays Would have been:

  • Oakland (RPI 110) won game 1
  • Baltimore (RPI 74) won game 1
  • Boston (RPI 115) won game 1
  • Toronto (RPI 46) won game 1
  • Minnesota (RPI 78) won game 1
  • Detroit (RPI 92) won game 1
  • Atlanta (RPI 99) won game 1
  • St Louis (RPI 73) won game 1
  • Washington (RPI 58) won game 1
  • San Fransico (RPI 73) lost game 1
  • Colorado (RPI 95) game 1 ppd and then won the next day

Todays play would be San Fran for 2 units

Looking onto Fridays series:

  • NYY (81)
  • BOS (49)**
  • OAK (83)
  • DET (52)**
  • BAL (52)**
  • ATL (129)
  • SF (127)

** CLOSE TO THE RPI CUTOFF, CHECK BACK TO SEE IF IT STILL FITS THE SYSTEM .

SOMEONE DOUBLE CHECK ME, AND GET B2W BACK IN HERE TO DO THE WORK

Glefkb01, where are you getting your RPI data from? It's no where near the ESPN RPI that I have been using.

    Hey Glef,

Do you have the BTW spreadsheet from last year.  I cant get the games to show up like they did last year.  Just wondering if what we have to do to get it to work.   Thanks for posting as I am verifying and everything looks good.  Thanks bro.

Mia and Minn is a 2 game series. Minnesota has a 4 game series against Texas after, so Minnesota does not qualify under the system rules.
