For series openers, I start checking MLB.com about an hour and a half before first pitch. Just click on the "Gamecast" icon thing and look in the box score.

The timing of the announcements is usually pretty arbitrary, though.

That steam you are seeing on the LAD-SD under is a direct result of Runge being behind the plate. He has an enormous zone that will (hopefully) be of particular help to a control pitcher like Richard.

Because I think they might hit Capuano around a little bit. According to various sabermetrics, namely BABIP and LOB%, Capuano has been one of the luckiest pitchers in baseball to this point.

Plus Clayton Richard is an average pitcher, already giving up 2 runs to a Triple AAA lineup in the first inning

Good evening couple of points of interest. I read your thread whenever you post and an important area is coming back home after a long road trip. I read that Monday and Monday night played Oakland + 185 for a nice win thanks to you. Tonite Detroit coming back from a long road trip so playing the Twinkies. Also on Monday Iread about the over being a high % play since 1992 on San Diego on the road. You were probably taking book with the kindergarden class then. Best of luck on your plays tonite.
