And now more big news..

Diana Taurasi will miss 10-12 weeks from now as she just underwent a disc protrusion in her back the Mercury has announced.

This off-season is truly nuts with so many big names out. Really liked the Mercury before this news but that's a massive blow especially in a very tough West conference.

Road favs that simply average more points than their opposition with a line of -5 or more are hitting 68.4% and that dates back to 2002 in the post-season.  The road favs have gone 52-24-2 ATS in those 76 situations and 62-16 SU

The Sky are under the radar my friend. They have a few good rookies as well with the experience with Quigley, Dolson and VanderSloot. They will be much improved but teams still need to cut a lot of players before I can do my power rankings.

The Aces are also a sleeping giant if they can stay healthy with their current squad whilst adding some depth as well. Around 4 weeks to go. Pre-season starts soon.

Do yourself a favour and visit www.killersports or www.sportsdatabase. Download their NBA manual which is a PDF. Spend some time learning the code/language and then you can look at any historical/situation you want. The reg season for NBA goes back to 1995 and the playoffs go back to 2002.

Thanks mate... 76ers just got the wake up call they needed after that Game #1 effort.

Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia 76ers: 76ers -9

I think Dudley has just added more fuel to the fire with his antics against Simmons. He might be trying to be tactical but he has just woken this 76ers team up IMHO. Think we se ther 76ers win this game by 13+points tonight and the Nets say goodbye to the 2018/19 season which they have done very well. If they can land Randle during the off-season like reports are saying, that will only make them stronger for next season. Philly needs this to end tonight as they need the rest which it looks as though the Raptors are going to get after they demolish the Magic (up by 16 so far).

**Trade alert

Odyssey Sims has been sent to the Minnesota Lynx in exchange for Alexis Jones.

Seems as though the Sparks are trying to open up some cap space to sign Cambage.

Different rosters but Rockets just 3-8 S/U on the road after Harden shot 40% or less the game before. Just 9-11 overall if you consider home and road games in the playoffs when Harden shot 40% of less.

I am 50/50 with this Lynx team. The West is stacked this season. They still have Fowles, Brunson, Augustus and Robinson so not a bad starting line up along with most likely Jones. Moore is a big loss no doubt but they have the coaching and the players as well to help them get the wins this season.

Think the salt in the wounds is about to get even saltier. Spurs ready to pounce, coming off a massive win in Game #3 thanks to Derrick White whilst De-Rozan and LMA helped out as well. Spurs are a ridiculous 81-27 S/U at home in the post-season since 2002 and although the rosters would have changed since then, their coach hasn't. Pop is a true legend of the game and I think he knows exactly how to play this Denver team because apart from 2 mental lapses in Game #2 and Game #3 where the Spurs allowed the Nuggets back into the game, the Spurs have played awesome during this series. Have to think they go back to Denver up 3-1 as they wouldn't want to go back 2-2 with Denver in homecourt advantage. Also liking De-Rozan in this series. He has been blasted before for his no shows in post-season games but I also think it was a coaching/confidence issue. Dwayne Casey could never get his team up for the post-season when coaching at the Raptors. I think because Pop believes in De-Rozan, he has played a lot better in this series and he isn't relied heavily compared to his time at the Raptors. I could be completely wrong and De-Rozan has a horrible game tonight.

Thank you Softballmaniac and Buckleys.

OKC made it a lot harder for themselves after being up by 16 early in the 3Q and then not defending the 3 ball at all. But, luckily they got there in the end in the 4Q. Kanter was impressive, grabbed some offensive rebounds which OKC would not have been happy with.

Nice to see other Aussies on covers as well. Enjoy the golf mate and hope you had a great Good Friday.

WNBA is going to be a very different season with so many player movements and others not playing at all. Only 4 weeks away.
