Firstly, simple: Packers are not world beaters on Defense, they held the Bears to 16 real points in the season opener.

If you're getting 3.5, let alone 4.5, you are only expecting around two TDs to have a reason to believe you can cover.

Are they going to only score 14? I don't think so.

People are making a big deal of the sample size of teams who have started their first two games on the road... Does that stat apply to Monday Night?

Extra prep time. This matters.

Seahawks have members missing from their team, and they had an entire extra day to prepare.

Low expectations: the team is simply existing, devoid of any external pressure.

Bears on the hype train trying to prove themselves at home:

When a team has never proven themselves there is a chance that they press instead of thrive in this pressure.

Earl Thomas:

He is a difference maker, especially against a QB like Trubisky who loves to throw up the seams. Good luck against a prideful Thomas who is looking for his last contract.

Russell Wilson:

The guy is a top five rated passer of all time. I'm getting him in "f the world" mode and I'm getting him on Primetime.

Granted, I did zero of what I call "technical" research prior to this game, but I ran out of time, and I didn't pursue the tape because I really believe in the Seahawks as a road dog of more than 3.

However, I did review the interception Thomas had on Keenum and I'm telling you, even when I slow it down I would have thrown that ball. The interception must have surprised the hell out of Keenum.

Good luck tonight guys, hope you're with me.

I respect your opinion on the game itself but am having an issue with the highlighted statement above.
Good luck the rest of the year

Should be an entertaining game tonight

Quite honestly, these are two teams going in opposite directions.

Gone, are some of the vocal leaders from the defense last year. Guys who could rally the defense.
They lost Richard Sherman, Michael Bennett and Kam Chancellor.

3 weapons that Russell Wilson leaned on last year, Jimmy Graham, Paul Richardson and Doug Baldwin {injured} will be missing.

Seattle will fill these voids tonight with 34 yr old Brandon Marshall, who's better days are behind him.

Continuity is very important for an offense, especially early on.

Looking at last weeks game against Denver, the defense had numerous mental breakdowns and missed assignments against a pedestrian Broncos offense.

Chicago's complex, shifting, multi dimensional offense, should also present issues for Seattle

Lay the points.

3-3 For the week

There's something brewing in Chicago.

Matt Nagy has brought his creative offense to the windy city and the excitement among the offensive players is noticeable.

The addition of Mack has now brought that same level of excitement to the defense. Players now watch the action unfold on the field more than they used to, expecting to see explosive plays.

Seattle meanwhile is going through growing pains and dealing with extensive injuries.
Starting linebackers, Bobby Wagner & K.J Wright, both expected to miss tonights game.
Starting wide receiver Doug Baldwin did not make the trip and also is out for tonight.

Chicago should be in an ornery mood tonight after losing in front of a national audience 24-23 to Green Bay on Sunday night, in a game that they controlled until the final quarter.

Respect Russell Wilson and his 7-1 career record on Monday Night as well as Pete Carroll's 22-4-1 record as Seattle coach during prime time games but these aren't the Seahawks of years gone by.

Russell Wilson is playing behind an offensive line that affords him little time to go through his progressions and he has to run for his life just to buy time.
Chicago's front seven will cause Seattle issues all night.

Otherwise agree on the play.

Best of Luck

As justified as the hate is with Steve Sarkisian, I think at some point talent & execution has to play a role to negate his inability to get creative with his play calls.
The hate has gone on far to long.
