Sunday June 2, 2013                Record On Top Picks 0-0-0

MLB

Top Pick Of The Day:   Chicago White Sox (M/L) -105

The White Sox and Oakland Athletics have both been struggling at the plate as of late, and I believe that will not change tomorrow. Especially for the Oakland Athletics. C.Sale  (5-2, 2.53 ERA) will be taking the mound for the White Sox tomorrow. With the current streak he is on (Sale is 4-0 in his last five starts and will be well-rested, having thrown only three innings in 16 days.) and the hits that have been coming from the Athletics, I believe that they are in for a long day.

J.Parker (3-6, 5.40) Will be taking the mound for the Oakland Athletics. He has been doing pretty well as of late. The beginning of the season his E.R.A. was at 8.10, he has fought back from those horrid numbers to become quite a respectable pitcher. However, he is just out classed in this matchup of pitchers.

The key to this game will be the pitching and lack of hitting from either team. I would jump all over the under on this game (7 at the time of this posting), except I do not trust Parker. He will throw a great game and then he will throw a mediocre game. So I am just sticking with the White Sox for the win.

Other Games Of Interest

St. Louis Cardinals over the San Francisco Giants

Arizona Diamondbacks Over the Chicago Cubs

Minnesota Twins over the Seattle Mariners

Houston Astros over the Los Angeles Angels (Big Dog +230)

Games listed under "Other Games of Interest" will not be calculated into the Records. I will only count the "Top Picks" for the records. These are just thrown out there to let you look at them and decide for yourselves.

I will post picks on here everyday I see value. It may not be everyday, but I will check the thread and respond. I do move my betting units around on each game (1 unit = $100.00), and I know that is another thread all together. But lets not get into that here. I will loose some, but so far I have managed to stay above 65% on my bets throughout the years.

Follow or Fade, its up to you.

I have to go with ryder007 on the White Sox lean. Sale,C is on the mound and he has been flawless so far. I know the White Sox aren't hitting very well right now, but I don't think they will need many points in this one.

I expect Miami to put up a better showing than the 48% shooting from last game myself. If everyone will look back, Miami looked pretty bad the first game of last series after a long lay off also. But they are the Heat and they will bounce back hard and fast.

I am going hard on the over and still taking Indiana plus the points expecting them to at least cover

I see money on the over here - don't really matter who wins the game

I don't know of many locals who place their bets on the strip. You get much better action off strip.

Where is the nasty weather we were promised....... Damn, I was counting on it

Its hard to score points in the rain. The advantage that the Patriots have is their strong passing game against Houston's week secondary. The bad weather may take that away from them. I'm leaning Houston and staying away from the total

I agree with the thoughts on the over. In normal conditions this would be an excellent play. However, the weather is supposed to be pretty rough tonight. I am staying away from the total

Defence wins games against 2 great teams. So I have to go with Houston here. They are also my personal favorites team, so I never bet real money on them. (Don't want to bet with emotions). I am worried about Houston's secondary, but I am thinking that their defensive line will dominate the Patriots offensive line and not give Brady the time he needs. If that doesn't happen, well......"Houston, we have a problem"

Running with OKC -7.5

OKC is very aggressive at home and Lakers have a few key injuries. Lakers have also been playing weak.
