it's hilarious how Scal derailed this thread and made it all about him. How much attention does one grown man need?

The only thing you can say about Wentz is the injuries.  Talent wise, and skill level wise, he's one of the best in the game.  His second season, he would have won league MVP and he put his team in position to win the Superbowl.

Last season, he rushed back too early.  With no preseason and no minicamp, he tried to jump right into it.  Coming off reconstructive knee surgery, and playing half the season with a broken bone in his back, he still had a 3 to 1 TD to INT ratio (21-7).

He'll be making less then Derek Carr on this extension, so yeah....I'm fine with it.  In 2 or 3 years, it's gonna be one of the biggest bargains in football, because when healthy, he produces like a pro bowl QB.

that's great and all but he has not been able to finish a season in last 2 years.

it's a huge risk given his durability issues.

it was South Korea, not Japan that beat Germany

I was also huge on Germany

I respectfully disagree with you.

The line may have opened at -6.5 at William Hill, but I think all offshores opened at 5 or 5.5. I saw 5dimes open it at -5 on Sunday evening. Now they have it at -6.5. Baltimore ML was -240 on and 5dimes now has it at -275.

Yes, the Browns are on a nice winning streak. I had them last week to cover against the Bengals. But let's look at who they beat during this winning streak: Atlanta (banged up defense), Cinci (no AJ Green or Dalton), Carolina (banged up Cam who was unable to throw 15+ yards), @Broncos (impressive win I guess, didn't watch this game).

Playing @ Baltimore is a huge jump in competition.

The Browns have played much better after the coaching change. But I'm still not a believer in Gregg Williams as a HC. I think this is the week he gets badly exposed.

GL this week.

I like your thought process on this. The line opening at -6 and now down to -5.5 is telling IMO.

Only thing I don't like is that Memphis has lost 5 straight games. They are in a bit of a free fall right now.

I'd still take the points, but not for a big play.
